The only time when it gets extremely busy occurs when folks are using the car wash, trying to get salt off their car when it's winter. What is special about this gas station is their car wash. It is the first time where there isn't a track where you fit your tires on, and it pulls you. Instead, you just drive in and turn off your engine. The machine will move forward and backward to wash, rinse, and dry your car. However, this method takes longer. And for some reason, the door into the car wash doesn't close, so the front car waiting to get in and paying at the kiosk gets sprayed upon. There is no free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. However the Petro Canada is a much better stop in most respects (lighting, service, store & washrooms). Also I have never once encountered a grumpy, unprofessional or shiftless attendant at this location which can't be said for many gas stations. There are other stations in the Richmond Hill area which compete with price on & off - the corners of Bayview/MajorMac and Bayview/16th have been "hot" in recent weeks, the Shell at Leslie/16th used to be the cheapest but it's been inconsistent ever since that big overnight 10 cent jump earlier in the year. However it is only at these Yonge & Weldrick pumps that you can always count on the markdown. Why not 5 stars? Like most stations the last 10 years, the Air Pump is not maintained. And just last week during the -11c night the windshield cleaning stations froze solid because they failed to replace the diluted mix with 100% winter fluid.
