After scanning my voucher, the manager (Cade) refused to perform the oil change, citing a gasket leak. However, because he had already scanned the code, he "spent" my money. When I asked to use the credit for my second vehicle instead, he refused. ​Groupon has confirmed they cannot refund me because Valvoline marked the service as "redeemed." When I returned to resolve this, Cade changed his story, claiming he only "recommended" the dealership and didn't refuse service--which is a lie. If he hadn't refused, I would have had the oil change done! Now I am out the money with no service to show for it. Unprofessional and dishonest.

I would have been alarmed except that I had the ball joint replaced just two months prior with a reciept for the work done and clear, clean, new parts visible, "no you can't go out to the bay to look, too dangerous." I was at this shop forever, I've got three guys walking through the waiting room "consulting the boss," about my dangerous issues and what should we tell the customer? I told them put it all back together, I'm leaving. He charged me $26. I do not trust this shop, idiots and liars working the bays and I hope an embarrassed boss who got caught in his own bullshit. Don't ask me to review if you don't want the truth.

My Toyota Tundra needed a new AC evaporator coil, which is located in the dash. I started the job…read moremyself but soon realized it was too much for me, so I took it to Expert Auto on 37th and Woodlawn in Wichita. I had removed some cosmetic parts from the dash like the glove compartment side panels and kick panels, but I never touched the electrical components. When I brought the truck in, everything was working fine. Expert Auto agreed to finish the job and put everything back together. After spending over $2,300, I picked it up three days later only to find the digital clock and radio didn't work, and the AC wouldn't power on until you drove for about two minutes. When I voiced my concerns, I was told they couldn't confirm everything worked beforehand and that the AC delay was due to the battery being disconnected for several days, insisting the "computer" would catch up and fix itself. Two weeks later, the problem persisted and the AC went out completely. I took it back, and after another inspection, they said they didn't know what was wrong and advised me to take it to a wiring shop. After paying $250 for a wiring diagnosis, I was told the dash needed to be taken apart again--at a cost of over $4,500 with no guarantee of a fix. When I called Expert Auto again, Tim told me there was nothing they could or would do. Now, on a fixed income, I'm left with no AC or heat going into winter, unable to afford repairs, and Expert Auto refuses to make it right. Absolutely horrible service--save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

At first I was happy but once I saw the recommendations were fluids and simple filters I opted out, the manager immediately cut me off and opened the door to yell at his guys to "Pull the land rover out"... After a few minutes my car was ready to leave. I immediately get blasted with dust and dirt all over my cabin and hear a terrible grinding noise. I turn off my AC since I was late to get back to work. After doing some reading I decide to peak into my filter before going back to them since they clearly caused some type of damage only to find they had installed my filter upside down which dumped a ton of dust and dirty into the clean side of my air system AND they had stuffed about a cubic foot of lint/debris into my blower fan ($3000 repair by the way). Some of the parts/work they installed even had to be redone because what they installed was bad. After all of that, I got my car back and it broke down again less than 2 miles from the shop. It turned out the actual problem was ONE SIMPLE PART that they somehow failed to diagnose after multiple visits, towing my car, and charging me for all kinds of other repairs. When I called Kyle and asked for a refund after everything they put me through, he refused. I was also talked to like a child instead of a customer who had already paid them thousands of dollars and given them multiple chances to fix the car correctly. They took my money, replaced parts that did not solve the problem, had me come back FOUR TIMES, and still never fixed what I originally brought the car in for. Save your money and take your car somewhere else. It's apparent that other higher-rated shops are aware of Kyle, it's unfortunate how it is known for situations like this with customers' vehicles.
