Friendly staff. Checking in and out was easy. Clean rooms. Housekeeping is offered after every 3rd…read morenight with the option of more frequent housekeeping if needed (just need to ring the front desk before 11am or fill out a doorknob hanger). They offer a hot continental breakfast with a wide variety of foods and drinks. We'll just say, I certainly did not starve while staying here. The rooms also have a mini fridge and microwave. I stayed for 3 weeks and was worried about the amount of noise from other guests and the highway being close by, but without my asking they placed me on the third floor furthest away from foot traffic. This hotel is pet friendly and kept on the 2nd floor rooms. For those needing to do laundry they offer a good sized washer and dryer. Cost is $1.50 each. Unfortunately they don't have a change machine there. I don't know if they have quarters available at the front desk because I lucked out and had exact change in quarters. Room temperature was easy to adjust and blackout curtains were available. I slept well every night. There's free WiFi, a small pool, and a small gym. The hotel also is not far from places to eat or heading downtown. Would highly recommend. Luxury? No. Comfortable and affordable? Yes.

A very nice hotel. So glad the crappy Super 8 in the town 30 miles away was full. I was traveling…read morewith my parents back to MN. They have their spunky dog along. I called enroute and booked this dog friendly motel. It did have carpet on the floor, but was clean. Everything was very clean, high up queen beds. The breakfast the next day was bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs from a bag, biscuits and gravy, etc. Much better than Quality Inn. They also had a pool and gym, I didn't use. Recommend.

I cannot believe all the good reviews - this place is horrid! It seems like it was thrown together…read morewith spare parts and discounted fittings. We had a room with a king size bed. We had roaches!!! Minimal housekeeping means they don't even come in and take all the trash, they just grab the old towels and bring in clean ones (hopefully - eco could mean they just dried wet ones in the dryers and brought them out for re-use). The floor felt like it had not been cleaned in ages on my bare-feet which were dirty by the time I went to bed after I had only walked on the room's floor! The bed was so tall you had to do gymnastics to get on it. They say they are eco minded so I think they use the grey water idea for one time our toilet water was literally yellow and no one had peed in it, so I guess someone had peed in the shower and it ended up in my toilet. The lid on the toilet was too small so you were constantly sitting on the bowl part as well. Also being eco minded meant instead of soap being sanitarily wrapped in it's own unopened paper and small bottles of shampoo etc, you got opened bottles of not full to almost empty products, all of which numerous other people had used and perhaps done God knows what with it and the pump handles were probably never cleaned. You could not even use the sink for the fixtures were so ill fitting, you had to use a cup to rinse your hands, otherwise you were constantly hitting the underneath crevice of the counter and you just knew it had not been touched by "housekeeping" since the hotel was built. There is no restaurant only a breakfast hallway which is sectioned "off limits" except 6-8am. The laundry room which you had to do yourself smelt like sewage. I didn't even shower for it was unusable, not only did it have no grab bars or anything, you had to turn backwards to reach the products about three feet from the shower head. Someone said this hotel was new - the shower was rusty. So after having to pole vault onto the bed I left unshowered, in dirty clothes for I did not want to use products someone may have goobered in that stank to high heaven, or launder my clothes in a sewer. We had planned to stay two nights but left after the first one. Very over priced and don't believe a word of the good reviews. And I didn't even say a word about all the clashing decor...

The rooms are very nice and clean! We love getting the suite when available. The restaurant is also convenient, nice servers, and great food. The bar is also nice to have right there!

" Was A Niece Place "…read more We met some friends in the Best Western Hotel. The hotel looked very nice and and newer. The Hotel does have a weird layout though. There is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi that all of the rooms look down on! It is weird and leads to an excessive amount of noise that comes up to the rooms. We asked and the employees told us that a remodel had just happened. We joined our friends as they had their continental breakfast. Which looked pretty good. I would stay here !

A fine, throwback feeling motel that does in a pinch. Basically if you want to be near the little…read moredowntown with kids, this is a good option. If you don't, there are higher rated hotels 3-5 miles outside the city, and nice B&B options for adults downtown. My kids were so excited to smell the chlorine and see a pool right when you walk in. That was a hit, and we chatted with some other folks there that were exploring Hannibal. The room was like the motels of my youth. Kinda weird overall as it's inside but has windows. There were clean enough beds (thank god), and the bathroom in our room was designed for accessibility. Notice I didn't say "well-designed" for accessibility. The shower basically flooded the bathroom.. threw some towels down and called it a stay. The breakfast was a time capsule. Styrofoam cups, diner coffee, old cereals.. no one in our group opted to take part. Free parking on both sides of the hotel, and a very short walk to the downtown area. I probably would stay here again, but I'd explore a few more options just to be safe.
