Estimate given over the phone, a promotion was offered and there were no adverse issues. I suspect the company has multiple Lehigh Valley locations as several phone numbers are associated with this organization. Scheduling was pain-free. Technician called ahead as promised, arrived timely. Without a doubt this was not only the best cleaning experience we've had; it was also clearly the best value for the money. Usually when the tech arrives they immediately go into a sales pitch to up-sell. Our tech, Jay, did none of that. Actually, when we saw the thoroughness and professionalism we were the ones who requested additional services and they were accommodated at reasonable rates. These are 30+ year old carpets, admittedly good quality but no other cleaners did so workmanlike and patient a job. There were stained areas that we expected might be difficult; however, we can't even detect where they were. At the most heavily trafficked area at the top of the steps leading into the kitchen has not looked nearly this good in any prior cleaning. I have been disappointed with Chem-Dry's poor customer service and that's what triggered the switch to Oxy-Fresh. Best ever. Strongest possible recommendation. If other techs are as personable and professional as Jay, using this company is a no-brainer.

Also I explained that the walk way of both bedrooms to bed done. The rooms are so small that the bed and dresser take up the floor and if they could just do the walkway of room. I was told this would not be a problem. When I got there I asked the guy if he did that he said yes. I said I didn't see you go in this bedroom. He stated it doesn't say that. I said well I asked for that. Not a nice person and not very accommodating. Even though I was time was. Needless to say I called them they said they can send him back but want to charge another 110.00. What a rip off!!! wait until they become a senior!! Furthermore like I said 50.00 more maybe. Made an appointment, at the recommendation of a well known local carpet business, to have my carpet…read morecleaned along with an upholstered chair. Made the appointment weeks before the date of service. At the time I made the appointment, I sent a photo of the carpet area and the chair that was going to be cleaned. I was quoted a $75 price, for both the carpet and chair, which I thought was kind of low but that was his business. Employee (I believe he was the owner) came pretty much on time. Upon arrival, I didn't think he was very personable and seemed to be in too much of a hurry. I asked him if he wanted me to point out any particular spots that might need a little more attention. He said no and would find them while he did the job. When the carpet was done he approached the door with the invoice. I asked him if he forgot about something. I reminded him about the chair. He had packed everything away after the carpet but then had to unpack everything to do the chair. From start to finish, carpet and chair were done in under 45 minutes and the job looked like it. Yes, the carpet was cleaner but I should have insisted that he let me point out the troubling spots on the carpet. Worn areas were not that much brighter after he completed the carpet. Final invoice was $99 which would have been a terrific price if the job turned out better. I don't know where the initial $75 came from as it is clearly written on his van "carpet cleaning $99". If the cleaning was his best effort, I doubt if I would call Easton Rug Service again.
