They were supposed to winterize the drip system and told me they had done it. Come spring the backflow had to be replaced because they never winterized it. Then it was rebuilt by Anthony. The backflow was never tightened up and leaked everywhere when it was turned on. They came back and fixed the backflow but never turned the water back on. So the whole season nothing was getting water. Every time I asked if everything was working and getting water I was told yes. So when I finally took it upon myself to check for myself, I discovered they never turned the water back on after fixing the backflow for the second time. So the whole spring and summer they lied to me about the plants getting water. So I'm working up a case with the Registrar of Contractors office.

He had to deal with working on a slope for half the project and dealing with a lot of rocks and gravel. He also sprayed the slope for weeds. He arrived early (big thumbs up) and I told him my budget (not much) and what I needed done. Well, my backyard now has several new plants and drip lines and everything looks great. I told Ryan that when I get some more money saved up I'll be contacting him again for more work. I have a long list of things that need getting done. One of the things I liked about Ryan is that if he doesn't know about something he can draw upon his friends who work in various fields, like today he got advice on which emitters to use for the particular plants I had put in and he managed to get me a deal on some of the supplies. We tried to be patient with them and paid them in advance, and some of this money was not used for our project, but used on another project. We tried to be understanding of the situation within the company but the owner was terrible about communicating with us. We finally got what we contracted to have done finished before Thanksgiving with the promise, after we paid him, he would be back in the spring to help us with our sprinkler system, and replace any plants that died. We have been calling since March to schedule a time for him to come out, but he never returns our calls or texts. We hired another company to help us with our sprinkler system this spring as well as finish setting up the water feature. We also contracted someone else to finish planting the back yard and replace all the plants that have died in the front. The quality of the work is satisfactory but we now know from other landscapers in our area that we paid a premium for the work.
