Much appreciation for the service and kind greetings. Don't send your hazardous waste to the dump when you can take it to Ecoflo.

    Reconsidered Goods - "Unacceptableee!!"

As it is, this city already has a substantial supply of thrift stores. However, Reconsidered Goods does for the Three Rs what I have never seen any other thrift store do well to date. They likely came into existence as a way to cater to the low-budget art student crowd. They seem to have realized that there is potential value in everything. Literally. From the things you would expect to find for sale anywhere down to the things that are only just shy of trash, depending on your personal criteria. I particularly love the bucket loads of stationery and stickers, and the literal shelf loads of assorted random boxes. Your donations and your purchases all give back to the community in some way. They even have an entire maker space style workshop making up the back half of the building where I assume they also do trainings and workshops. And even their prices are so reasonable that a little bit of pocket change can go a long way. The only complaint I can even come up with is that they aren't open long enough.

Reconsidered Goods is one of my favorite places to shop for creative supplies in Greensboro! The store offers materials for almost every creative hobby you can imagine, from crafting to art projects. On my last visit, they were hosting a customer appreciation event, and I was able to snag an item 50% off. I purchased some vintage plates that I plan to use to display candles in my home. One of my other favorite finds from a previous visit was a vintage gravy boat I picked up the day before Thanksgiving, such a life saver for my first Thanksgiving! This space is a great addition to Greensboro, and I always leave feeling inspired and excited to create.

My experience with Always Buying Scrap Inc. was extremely unprofessional…read more I called to ask about selling catalytic converters and was immediately treated like a scammer. The woman on the phone started asking a series of questions about "paperwork," who I worked for, and whether I was a mechanic shop instead of simply answering a basic pricing inquiry. A few minutes later, my father called and asked to speak with a manager. Despite previously being told that a price could be given with the serial number, the manager spoke very quickly, in a confusing and roundabout manner, and continued treating my father like he was doing something wrong simply for asking about pricing. At most other scrap yards or catalytic converter buyers, you can provide the serial number or send photos by text or email and receive a general price estimate. That's standard practice in the industry. Instead, we were essentially told we would need to drive all the way there just to inquire about value, only to be casually told it might be worth around $100. This is not how professional businesses treat potential customers. The communication was dismissive, unhelpful, and unnecessarily suspicious. I would strongly recommend other sellers call around before dealing with this company.
