My car went in for body work, and Marshall's dealt with the insurance company, saving me the hassle. The car was finished when promised, and was washed and vacuumed before I picked it up. I purchased a car for my daughter back in January, and I was impressed with the honesty of the salesperson Anthony when discussing the car. I had to change the name on the paperwork, but it was no problem and not a big deal. I plan to buy my other child a car here in the near future. When driving home from work, my wife noticed a scrapping sound and found that the metal engine skid…read moreplate under our Honda civic had come loose. After towing our car to this dealership and undergoing the initial inspection, we were sent a message with potential work along with a detailed itemized sheet of associated costs. We reviewed our monthly budget, opted to fix the plate (of course) and selected a few other standard maintenance items with a plan to return to revisit other less urgent items at a later date. The prices seemed fair based on our research. When we returned to pick up the car, we were presented with a bill over $500 higher than what we had approved. When comparing the itemized bill against the expected charge sheet, the same essential work was reflected but the items were broken-down differently so that no direct comparison could be made. The salesperson (who was very professional in his manner) explained how the expected charges were an error and could not have covered the cost of the repair. The work had been done so there was nothing he could do about the cost, however as a token of apology, he offered us some store credit in the form of cards- they weren't available that day but someone from the dealership would call us to pick it up the following week to use for future maintenance. We needed our car for work the next day so accepted this and went on our way. The store credit was not available the next week. Less than two weeks later, we heard the same sound when driving on the highway and found the plate had come loose again. We took the car to a different Honda dealership who found that the plate had been installed backwards and the front had not been secured. They were so shocked by the shotty work of Atamian Honda team that they replaced the sheild free of charge. Please feel free to draw whatever conclusions, but my experience of Atamian is that in this interaction they were predatory in their charging, incompetent in their work, and ultimately put my family in a dangerous situation on the highway. We will not return here. I will also note that I rarely submit reviews on yelp, and this is the first negative review I have written.
