I booked a last minute appointment for lashes. When I arrived and laid down she started taping my eyes for the lashes. I've had lashes many times and had them for six months straight. I've never had the issues I had. My right eye started hurting and she said my eyes are red then asked if I was HIGH. I said no and she continued to work. The pain got worse and worse. After THREE HOURS of telling her it hurts and her telling me it was just the chemicals and my eyes kept opening I finally told her she had to stop. I sat there for a while and she asked if could pay her via cashapp. The lashes weren't even done and my eye was in pain. I paid $200 and ended up having to go to the hospital where they said something had scraped my eye. I now have paid $700 for a hospital visit, half done eyelashes, and prescriptions. Please consider another laser hair removal spa. I paid over $800 back in February (it is now the end of August) for poor services and services I never received. They canceled my appointments three times, and when I finally asked to receive a refund they refused. Extremely unprofessional. DETAILS: Their only working esthetician was out on maternity leave so I had to wait two months to continue my laser hair removal treatments (paid for 16, only received 3). Before I purchased, they assured me someone else would be there to cover in her absence, but that was a lie. However, I was patient and waited. They then called again to cancel my appointment because she was exposed to COVID-19, so once again, I had to wait because they had no one else to cover for her. I also said nothing at this time. Finally, they then called AGAIN to cancel my appointment due to "issues with the laser" and it had to be sent in for "maintenance". It was also pointed out that this was not the first time the laser stopped working properly. At this point, I asked for a refund. The manager called me back, and only after I explained that I would like a refund did I get my first lackluster apology. I asked her to send me paperwork where I signed that said there are "No Refunds", because this entire situation was not in any way my fault at all. I never heard back from her and now the phone number goes straight to voicemail. PLEASE NOTE: I was getting laser hair removal on my face due to hormonal changes of child birth, BEFORE getting any treatments at Eclat Day Spa. So I know what to expect and how well it works for me. I had no issues, was seeing less and less hair, and was really happy with the results I was seeing at my previous laser hair removal spa. Unfortunately, after my move to Arkansas, I chose Eclat Day Spa to continue my treatments. I cannot express what a horrible choice this was. Not only did I see ZERO changes in my hair growth, I am now back at square one because my treatment was never finished and hair is now growing back EVEN MORE than when I first started. The manager mentioned this might be due to the issues the laser was having WHILE doing laser on my face. Extremely disheartening and so much time and money wasted. I am leaving one star because my experience with this company was a bad one. I was refused a refund back in 2014 cause of pregnancy, that issue has been resolved but only after the "manager" showed bad customer service by arguing with a client on social media. And when I finally got to speak to an owner she was pleasant and friendly and offered me sessions cause they won't give refunds. So I made an appointment. And showed up at the wrong office cause the email they sent me had the wrong address, no apologies for that, when I did finally find their true address on facebook ONLY (even Google hasn't been updated) I was offered a refund for the difference of my sessions from 2014. This offer was made by the NEW partner and I do appriciate that. But this review is about my experience with the people of this company. Edit. After putting this review up on Facebook Sharon (owner listed above) called me because she is mad over THIS review. After I refused to talk to her about a review that I am within all right to make she then called MY HUSBAND AT HIS WORK AND THREATENED TO GO TO THE OWNER OF THAT COMPANY BECAUSE OF MY REVIEW!! She also threatened my husband with legal action over this review. Two other girlfriends of mine and myself had the laser hair removal procedure, I did my ab trail, bikini area and upper lip. The procedure did not work for any of us. I spent $500 and my hair is exactly the same as before. SAVE your money. When you ask why it isn't working they just say your hormones cause the hair to come back. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, period. If this thing would let me give zero stars, I would. I received a gift card for a facial and massage and upon scheduling those and driving all the way there from Fayetteville, they realized they double booked and couldn't fit me in. Okay, cool, shook it off, things happen. So I rescheduled for the following week and went on my way. Day of my appointment comes around and guess who calls saying they will have to reschedule me, again. Apparently a tech quit (I now see why) and they were short handed. Okay. Again. It happens. But then I try to reschedule and the dates keep getting further and further away. So I expressed very calmly and sanely how unhappy I was that I had now been bumped again and how I was looking forward to it when the lady on the phone lets me know that I can call her back when I calm down. Calm down??? I was in my CORPORATE office's break room with other people in there, therefore I was speaking quite professionally and definitely more eloquently than this lady deserved. Okay.Not cool now. I asked to speak to someone else who decided to adopt the same attitude and made no apologies for how poorly this place was ran. A spa is not a place for unhappy, rude and bitchy employees! For those who work there reading this; you know who you are. If you hate your job so much, you should quit and stop spreading such toxicity. It will make you so old and ugly to where all the spas in the world couldn't help. I would give it "zero" stars, if given the possibility on yelp. Very unprofessional and dangerous spa. I went to get laser services and the laser was clearly having some maintenance issues, but they were still utilizing it. I actually feared that I may be electrocuted during my session. It appears that the staff did not have the proper training and were negligent at times. I do not believe the owner has ever operated a spa; this is very clear from my interaction with her. I do not believe she is capable of running a business at all, for that matter The services are mediocre at best and overall of poor quality. There are too many other nice spas in the Rogers/Bentonville/Northwest Arkansas area to even look at this one twice. I would NOT recommend this spa to anyone. read more
