I have been a patient of this dental office for over 20 years! Naturally, I have met a number of people over these years and I have never met anyone I didn't like (did Will Rogers say that?). And it just keeps getting better! My favorite memory was, years ago, Dr. Carter was thinking of a root canal for me. When he was checking out my mouth , he said my gums were so tight that he didn't want to disturb them, and he cancelled the procedure. Today, many years later, I still don't need a root canal. I have always admired him for this decision. It is really a pleasant experience to "go to the dentist". The whole office is dedicated to me! and all the other patients. What I like also is that you have the same hygienist - who gets to know your mouth - and you! I have learned more from my hygienist than I ever thought possible - and because of her, I have excellent dental health. I've had a wonderful experience here with Dr. Eckdahl and her team. I have a significant fear of dentists and have avoided them for some time. I needed help last November when I developed an abscess. Dr Eckdahl was fantastic. She reassured me through the whole appointment as did her assistants who were also super. A person could not find a more compassionate and gentle dentist and team. Also, there was no judgement about my previous lack of dental care, only support. The woman at the front desk was fantastic..Kris or Chris. They will take good care of you here, even if you are afraid or haven't seen a dentist for years. No judgement, gentle care. Best I have ever experienced. read more

I am one who did not like going to the dentist, but then I found Dr. Eckdhal. She is beyond patient and extremely nice and caring. I like that she explains step by step what we are doing. The entire staff are as friendly as they get. After the first appointment they know you by name and are friendly as ever when you walk through the door. I haven't personally had Dr. Carter but I hear he is just as great. I have and will continue to recommend these two dentists to anyone who is looking for a great dental experience.
