Just wanted to tell you that Brady came out and did an excellent job again. I wrote a review a while back tried to do another and it won't let me or I don't know where to post. He had his trainee with him and I could tell he is very good at explaining things to him and to customers. This is the second time he has come out to my house and both times did an excellent job and was very thorough. Would like to post this so the public can see it. Ryan- has been here twice that I can remember. He always does great work. Service was to service a/c and funable since we have new one didn't take long and called said cancellation so came earlier than service time. Eck Services is the absolute best company I have ever had to handle all my electrical, plumbing, and HVAC needs!! We had a home in Hutchinson, KS, and we had some remodeling done and some repair work was needed as well. Once I used Eck for the first time, they were who I called for everything! Eck gives a military discount; they are very affordable and they give great service. My favorite techinican is Matthew, he came over for several of my plumbing repairs and upgrades we were doing. He is very knowledgable and courteous and gets the job done quickly. I never had any problems with any of the multiple times we used Eck - for plumbing, for electrical work, and for some HVAC stuff. Our family is now moving out of state and I wish I could take Eck with me to our new city! Not all companies are created equally; Eck stands tall above all the rest. Save yourself the hassle and call them first. I am going to miss this company a lot. I am absolutely stunned at the other reviews here on Yelp. Something doesn't seem right because I had zero issues and everytime they fixed something, it was fixed properly and I didn't need any callbacks. I used them roughly 7 times over a one year period (May 2023 - May 2024) with our upgrades, rewiring, electrical addition, etc. I would still use them if I wasn't leaving the state. read more

Update: Although the techs were fantastic, the office was misleading on costs involved to complete the repairs. I paid (what I thought was) in full while the techs were here, I later received another invoice for $200. They had previously indicated this initial service fee was included in the $800 payment I had already made. I guess they needed to squeeze me a bit more as they refused to correct this. Do not use this company. They are just a bunch of con artists. first guy came out and put the wrong part in my air conditioner, it ran long enough for him to leave, after hours guy refused to come out. we hired a different company to come out and fix it- Thats when I found out their wrong part blew my motor. Called the management and was told they exchanged it with the exact same part that was in it- which I knew was a lie because I still have the parts box from when that part was exchanged this spring and it didn't match what they put on- they claimed they had pictures- they also claimed that there was no way the guy who came out and fixed it could have known what the right size part was- it's stamped inside the housing- thinking I was just an idiot who would believe him. said his tech went completely through the unit and it was just a coincidence that the motor went out after he was there- which is also a lie because my unit is in-front of my security camera and I have the whole service on video- he also told me that I supposedly told the after hours tech not to come out last night. Then to top it all off- I get off the phone with the skuzzball manager and they had the nerve to have a salesman call me to try and sell me a new unit. read more

techs ok but Eck is a money grab. really sad. I have had 3 calls with Eck and two have went bad. Manager doesn't care.

so we called about a heater not working and they came quickly. The tech seem like he was but say not competent kept making phone calls. The tech finally said after charging me $300 it looks like your thermostat doesn't work but we charge way too much for thermostats. You should go get your own, I did. Then I put the new thermostat in and the same problem still happened no heat my children are freezing and they don't care. I've called multiple times to get them to come back out and figure out what the problem is. I've offered them hundreds and hundreds of dollars to just come back out and now they are refusing to come back out . This is a money grab company and they don't care about children or families or pain or suffering. I've paid them hundreds and hundreds of dollars for nothing! read more

I called them out to fix my air conditioner. The technician said the blower motor was out and would replace it but the total cost would be $788.00. I had him fix it and then decided to look up the cost of the blower motor. They were between $50. - $100. So when I spoke with him on the phone I asked him the price of the blower motor, he stated he could not dic k one that information so I asked him why he charged me $600. For 1 hour of labor and he stated, I was paying for his time, drive, gas and knowledge!! Will not ever use this company again. read more
