I've been going here for 2 yrs with my daughter. I've driven 45mins to visit this doctor due to…read morethe flexibility of the schedule. So, with no hesitation did I schedule my fiance to visit this doctor. Well....... we knew the appt was approaching and never received a confirmation. I called & was told an appt was NEVER scheduled When IN FACT it was by myself a month ago with the same individual who picked up today. They insisted that we did not schedule it when I know we did, & I had it written down! I then was told the doctor is only in Wed & Fri now.... so since the doctor changed his schedule, our appt was deleted and we were NEVER contacted!!!!! I've been in the Customer Service industry for 20+ yrs & this is outright unacceptable!!!!!!! Not only did you NOT call us to reschedule, you DELETED the appt making it seem as if we NEVER even made it!!! Kept telling me , they should be calling us a DAY BEFORE THE APPT TO CHANGE it, when that is VERY unacceptable when you must have known for a month that he wouldn't be there. Not only have you lost a new client, you've lost 2 regulars too & I can guarantee i will advise all NOT to schedule with your business!!!!!!!

So this is a split review. I came here last year (2025) and saw Dr. Olsinski and he was wonderful…read more I had some serious issues be cause I have MS and a severe convergence issue and he spent almost an hour with me tweaking everything to make sure that the prescription was perfect - more so than any other doctor I have dealt with. He did a great job and they were the best prescription I've had in ages. Friendly. Professional. A++++ across the board. And their staff is always super pleasant. Calm, soft spoken and professional. A+there as well. Now onto this year (2026.) Due to health issues and surgery scheduling there was a conflict and I had to as the owner of the practice, Dr. K. Complete difference. He's supposed to be one of the best and I'm sure had he done the exam, it would have been great. However it was a tech who did everything, and though he was sweet, he is a tech. I paid to see a doctor. I have a medical condition. They did this virtual thing and it didn't show that it was adding up and it's a convergence issue. The tech (RJ) not to worry the doctor would address it. Dr K did not address it. He did address my dry eye issue yes and he was pleasant. Yes . Talked about the previous prescription, said he would tweak it, but he didn't double check anything to make sure that it was correct. He didn't even put me through the basic part where they make you look through the machine and they do the "is a better or 2?" as they click back and forth. He just looked at my glasses and said that oh yeah, the prescription on the progressive one of them doesn't even have Progressive (yet I know that it does because I saw my optometrist who's local and I saw a neuro ophthalmologist and they all said the progressive was there). So that's number ONE. Number TWO, they claimed it was too LOW, and I'm like OKAY, fine but he didn't measure to see where it was going to go up HIGHER. There was no checking further a sibsaid. He just said he would tweak my script. But how can you tweak a script a year later without any new information??? I have been wearing glasses since I was seven. I know how this works and I have been seeing neuro-ophthalmologist and optometrist for the last few years since I was diagnosed. It just felt a wham bam thank you ma'am sort of thing compared to Dr. O, which was night and day. So I called back the very next day to just see you know could I come in for a different exam and at first they were like yeah, you can come in to see Dr. O - no issue. The administrative director (Leslie) said, why did they put you with Dr. K? (after I explained the situation.) I told her had been a scheduling conflict- found it strange that she would even say that. He's supposed to be one of the best. But because he was the owner of the practice I felt weird calling - I suspected there was going to be an issue but, I did it anyway and I was polite. He got on the phone and told him he stood by everything and I tried to explain my concerns and he talked right over me and then just said fine basically whatever I'll have them refunded and you can go somewhere else. Essentially throwing me out of the practice because I didn't agree with him. Never gave me the option of seeing Dr. O because he said he stood by everything he himself said. If he stood by everything, what's the harm in having another doctor look at it to agree with him? Especially one who had already seen me before? Ego? Or because Dr. O might now have agreed? But that's not even the point. How about just making the patient feel better to maintain a good doctor /patient relationship? I've literally gone to optometrist, opthamologist and neuro specialists for years. I know how proper exams are done. He didn't like what I had to say and behaved unprofessionally. They told me they wouldn't give me my money back, and I said well why did I pay the $60 the VR thing didn't work and it wasn't addressed. They said that was just paid for the way to avoid dilation. Seriously? That wasn't explained to me (by the tech). Had I known that that's what I was paying for, I would have just been dilated. I paid an extra $60 plus my co-pay so $70 only to in the end, have to go see another doctor. The insurance said that SYS isn't going to file the claim - they don't have to. The business got 70 bucks from me cash between misrepresented exam & copay they don't have to give back. Why would they, or file a claim when they didn't do an actual exam? They're basically getting $70 for 0 effort and no true medical care. But it was just Dr. K and I alone in the room. He owns the practice so my word against his. I am a disabled woman in her 40s who just had hip surgery and like I said, my blood pressure was in the toilet. That should have also been taken into consideration and it wasn't. I got poor service and they still If I could give Dr. O a five star himself. I would NEVER RECCOMEND Dr. K If Dr. O ever opened his own practice, I'd be there.

No waiting when you arrive. Up to date equipment, check for any eye issues. Great employees…read more Great selection of frames.

Until 2018, Dr. Schoeppner was my opthalmologist for several years. In 2018, she told me that I…read morewould soon require laser treatments and/or injections in the eyes due to the condition of my retinas. I decided to get a second opinion and made an appointment at Mid-Atlantic Retina, where the doctor there told me that my retinas were in good condition and that I shouldn't let anyone shine lasers in my eyes or inject my eyes with needles, and to return to see him in a year. Then the doctor at Mid-Atlantic Retina said to me, "Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy", to which I replied, "What?"... he told me I had Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy, explained the nature of the disease, and asked if Dr. Schoeppner had ever told me I had Fuchs; when I told him that she had never said anything about it to me, he promised to send her a letter and recommend some OTC drops that would help with the condition. The next time I saw Dr. Schoeppner in 2018, she never mentioned getting the letter about the Fuchs, or even that I had the corneal disease, so, finally I asked her about it, and when I did, she got very huffy with me and said to me, "I found it to incidental (not sure what she meant by that) and I see that all the time in my elderly patients!" Well, what was "incidental" to her was very serious to me. For years I had told her about issues I was having, like seeing halos around car headlights and tail lights and street lights, which are symptoms of FCD, and she never once commented on what I told her or mentioned that I have Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy, a disease of the cornea in which the endothelial or inner cell lining of the cornea starts to deteriorate, i. e., those cells of the inner lining of the cornea die, which causes the eyes to water a lot, sensitivity to light, especially blue light, like that from computer and phone screens and even fluorescent lighting. I have been seeing a cornea specialist, who is the Director of the Cornea Fellowship Program at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, for a few years now, and she has determined that I have a moderate case of FCD. If and when it should progress any further, there is a surgical option available to avoid the worst case scenario of going blind. I sure am glad that I decided to get a second opinion back in 2018. And needless to say, Dr. Schoeppner is no longer my ophthalmologist!

Wow! The receptionist is extremely rude. I made an appointment and weeks later received a letter…read morein the mail that THEY rescheduled my appointment for a different day and time. The reason? They changed their hours. They SHOULD have called me, told me that their hours had changed and then asked me which days and times were convenient for me to reschedule. I wouldn't have had a problem with that. I cancelled the appointment because I already had a prior commitment. Today, I scratched my cornea and Express Care told me to make an appointment with my eye doctor within a few days. I called, told the receptionist the problem and then mentioned that I did not want them to reschedule as they did before. The nasty receptionist yelled at me that they had no openings today and when I tried to explain that it did not have to be today, she hung up on me. I won't return and my wife also found a new doctor for both if us. They lost 2 patients because of a rude receptionist.
