My girl friend dragged me in this ann summers shop and I was surprised just how many things they have, besides the obvious range of sex toys there are a lot of drinking games and plenty of clothing and underwear. I Rang them to…read moremake sure a costume was in stock that i was wanting for Friday Evening (this being a Wednesday Afternoon), And it was then i asked them if i could have it guaranteed delivered for Friday Morning's Post. Reply was well its late Wednesday If i can catch the post tonight i can send it special delivery and you could have it tomorrow, I was gobsmaked for a better word all for a few quid extra.. Well thursday morning come and postman past but i remembered IF they caught there postman. So worried a bit but not to much at this stage. THEN thursday just gone 6pm a knock on my door, It was a young lady that works for them hand delivering because they missed the mail the night before. It took a Minuite to sink in, and she said i was asked to drop it off as i was in Manchester anyway and its only a few miles out of my way. WHAT confidence this has given me on Internet Shopping, And also having dealt with them another 5/6 times since if i had to mark there performance it woild HAVE to be 125%. I finally had my eyes tested today after rearranging my appointment 3 times and I have to say that…read morewasn't a problem for the shop they changed it each time with a smile. They were thoroughly tested too , field vision , that horrible one were they puff air at your eyeball and for an extra £10 you can have an image taken of the back of your eye which shows up any problems- however there was no pressure to have this done. I then saw the optician , a very friendly lady who explained everything she asked or did very clearly and was friendly and polite. She then went through my new prescription explaining any changes and recommending what glasses I would need. Now I have to be honest here I went to Boots as I had a voucher for a free eye test which you just don't waste and thought about just taking the prescription and running but they had some really pretty glasses and a buy one get one free offer on single lens glasses and as I need glasses for reading and long distance for driving that was ideal . What swung the deal was the insurance I am always putting my glasses down and sitting on them or knocking them onto the floor and standing on them but for £20 I could insure them against accidental damage ( scratches,breakages etc) for 12 months- take them in get a new pair -great. So all in all I was very impressed with the staff, the eye test , the range of glasses and the price. Will definitely be going back there for my next eye test.

The staff were thourough and the equipment used was very impressive, after being used to one optician peering in my eyes, i was surprised at the number of tests available. They went over my prescription in great detail and we had a decent choice of glasses, although i did think they pushed the designer glasses a bit too much. Would certainly go back there again and have booked my next apppointment. One of the added bonuses for me is that it is all on one level, and you get boots points as well.

Some eye catching designs available in the luggage sets too, you'd certainly spot them coming round on the luggage carousel no problem! I have to confess that I bought my luggage from the Antler outlet next door though as when I visited they had the most suitable case for me, in a nice staid dark blue! :-)
