Boots the chemist is a fine store whichever location it is in but the giant one in Blackpool…read moresituated right behind the world famous Blackpool tower is a wonderful place to shop. Not only are the staff very friendly and helpful but the views from the windows as you shop make it a very pleasurable experience indeed whther you are popping in for a look around or just to grab an essential item it is a greta store ina great location.

Town centre location, mega sales in January on their Xmas Stock & with Blackpool being quiet in the Winter there are some bargains to be had! They currently have some fantastic deals including 3 for 2 on loads of gifts and extra Advantage Club points which you can spend in store. The cosmetic sets always seem to have freebies if you spend a certain amount which means you can get a huge amount for your money in Boots!

The store seemed nice inside, the product range was OK but I did find the selection of certain items, mainly male items such as the Bulldog Skincare range to be non-existent, the same could be said for gift-sets, which seemed non-existent again, both of which Boots nearby had an ample selection of. The store does have a Pharmacy which is useful, it is one of the few pharmacies within Liverpool One. 3* - Average store, selection could be much better and there is better nearby, but one of the better choices in the main part of Liverpool One.

The product range is good, they have a nice range of most products you'd expect to find in a Boots, including the Bulldog Skincare range which was the main purpose of my visit. There is an Opticians and Pharmacy area as you'd expect from a large Boots store. I did find the gift-sets to be a little poor, maybe that is because people of Liverpool seem to have raided the shelves as they are currently 50% off, but the selection is much better in Manchester, many big brands which are sold in the latter didn't seem to be sold here, but they did have some cool Twinings Tea gift-sets, which aren't sold in the former, however, they did seem to be damaged, ripped and one was even missing a tea-bag (thieves?) It's a large Boots store, the selection is pretty good, I do feel they should do more to maintain the quality of products, I get it isn't the store's fault to a full extent but they should be maintaining them and not selling products which have obviously been tampered with, prices were OK/competitive in the majority of areas. I do prefer my local Manchester - Market Street store as I find the selection to be slightly better, with more facilities overall, but this still is a good store in Liverpool. 4*

On the ground floor you have a large pharmacy area, cosmetics concessions, perfumes, toiletries, holiday items, food, and hair products. Upstairs has baby clothes and products, a large camera and film processing section and a wide range of electronics. The different products are organised into clearly marked sections and it is easy to find everything in store. If you are a bit lost the staff are more than happy to help you. There are often offers displayed for multibuys and the products are competitively priced. When I used to work in the city centre I bought my lunch at Boots for most of the week. They have an excellent value meal deal where you can buy sandwiches, wraps, salads or sushi, chocolate or crisps and a drink for about £3.50. The food is always of a good quality.

The other convenient thing is that they not only collect your prescription from the health center, but keep a record of when you will be needing more medication and automatically order a new prescription. As with every other branch Boots is just that bit more expensive than it's compiditors for other things. However they have a good range and it's well laid out in a well lit store. There is a private room for consultations with the pharmacist, about anything which might be concerning you, a printout machine for digital photos, and the normal range of goods

The store appeared to be fairly presentable, it appears to have had a slight refurb to fit into the refurbished part of Leeds Station very well. Prices were a little high on the to-go food and drink, selection and pricing is better at other outlets inside the station including WHSmith and Sainsbury's. The staff seemed friendly enough. 4* - The store is good, mainly for convenience and the midnight pharmacy.

Last month I was told they were too busy so they can't order my medication for me again. I had to go about three days without medication. And the pharmacy told me I can even go five to seven days without medication. And this month also because of the bank holiday they couldn't order my medication. When I phoned them to find out they disconnected me after almost 20 minutes of waiting. I phone again and the reply was pharmacist is too busy call back in two hours. What happened to this amazing pharmacy. I am done now. Thanks again for the previous services
