Also I had done my own layout (using Word (with limited layout capabilities but all I had) and had created my own pdf, that seemed to print ok on my home printer, but I was not sure about column alignment when sending to an actual printer. I decided then to go to Yelp for ideas. There I found Metcalf Printing. It was located near the airport and near where I was going to stay in Columbus when attending my brother's memorial service. I started doing the online process on their site. It was pretty intuitive. But after uploading my pdf, I still had alignment concerns. I decided to call the number and got a nice reception. I was referred to Jeff Metcalf (the owner) who asked me some questions and then said, just email me the pdf and I will take a look and get back to you with a quote. It wasn't long before he sent me the info. I called the next day to approve and pay via credit card. When picking up the bulletins the following week in Columbus, I was positively impressed by Jeff and the good quality of my printed pieces. Jeff said he has modified alignment a little so my columns were centered. Thank you. I learned Metcalf Printing has been in business since the 1980s, started by Jeff's mom (hope I am remembering this right). I had a positive experience, and received a good print job. Probably not likely I will be back there again soon since I live in Iowa. Making funeral plans for my brother was hard enough, and this service by Metcalf Printing helped one detail less difficult.

I had an appointment set up for one time. Nancy tried to arrive earlier than the scheduled time…read more When she arrived, my son answered the door to advise that we were not ready. Again, Nancy had showed up sooner than our SCHEDULED appointment time WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I scurried to try to accommodate Nancy's early arrival. Finally, I was ready. When my son went outside to see if Nancy was still present, she was not. Nancy had left. Nancy didn't call, text or even blow smoke signals to advise that she was leaving, she just left. When I called her business to inquire as to what had happened, she had her people to lie and say that she was in a "meeting". How could you be in a meeting when we were scheduled to be in OUR meeting at the same time? The fingerprint meeting. I called and left several messages. I also sent several text messages to the line that she had called me from earlier. I never received a return reply. I was very upset as I was on a tight deadline to complete the fingerprints for my employer. THANK GOD that my employer was flexible, but man! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Nancy is unprofessional and a liar. Although, I've forgiven her, however, she is what she is and it's all done with a smile. To this day, she's never contacted me to resolve the issue or to apologize. Typically, I won't take time out to post a negative review but people need to know how unprofessional she is. One of the main reasons that I chose to post this review is because of the sensitivity of the situation. I'm in physical therapy right now for my leg. So, having her to come to me and being willing to pay an extra $250 for the mobile service on top of the regular fees was going to be a convenience that I needed at the time. The fingerprints were needed in order to retain the new position that I had accepted with my employer. My employment was attached to the fingerprints being completed. Thankfully, I was able to find a better service that cost less and that actually showed up when they were supposed to and not an entire hour early without consent like Nancy did. In conclusion, if you DO decide to patron her business, be sure to tell her from the very first moment that the scheduled time IS THE SCHEDULED TIME and do NOT SHOW UP EARLY as you WILL NOT be available. Because she'll schedule an appointment for one time but then call, text and leave messages trying to show up a whole day or so early. So, cut her off at the beginning and let her know that, the time is the time and to not try to avoid the scheduled appointment. Oh, because she did call me a day or two before the actual scheduled day asking to come over then. I advised her that I was not available and that I will need to keep my previously scheduled day and time. However, she STILL came over early on the scheduled day and caused an unfortunate situation. Do what you want, but please be aware of who and what you are dealing with. And if the prints that you need is for a job, I would ABSOLUTELY UNEQUIVOCALLY advise to not patron Nancy and her business as you could lose your job messing around with her messiness. Honestly, I was nervous Local Anything was a scam because their phone number is in Florida & they…read morewere much cheaper than other quotes I received. Obviously they're not :). You have a concierge to answer questions when you purchase & a dispatcher to tell you where the movers are via text and/or phone call. A $400 down payment is required. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.

My home is a 4 bedroom house with a basement but not everything needed to be moved out. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. SO FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!! NEVER USING THEM, EVER AGAIN!!!
