EC Pop's has every popcorn flavor you could imagine and all are unique and make for a tasty (be careful, addictive) delightful snack! The store interior is so apropos for a "popcorn/ candy/snack" shop! The place is cute, bright, and colorful with a fun, upbeat vibe! And the personnel are absolutely lovable - kind, welcoming, knowledgeable about the ware, cheerful, generous, and easy-going! Today was sampler day! I discovered so many popcorn flavors unique to EC POPS that I hadn't known of before! Pretty good tourist place--and lots of good popcorn! (Too corny? Yeah I know.) Been here a few times; I go here specifically for the fresh popped popcorn (cinnamon bun and sea salt caramel) plus the sodas (apple, grape, root beer, etc.). There's a lot of other things as well, including Baltimore/Maryland merch. But the popcorn and soda is what I go there for. Old Ellicott City, btw, is great for walking around and seeing the sights. E.C. Pops E.C. Pops is The Maryland's favorite gourmet popcorn and Maryland theme gift shop in Old Ellicott City. They have great variety of popcorn flavors, chocolates, jams and jelly belly candies, also all the toys and stuff animals. The Harry Potter collection are amazing, the price was on discount when we visit. We didn't buy anything this time, but we will come back for sure, there are so many other interesting stuffs, like bottled sodas, cookies, nostalgic candies, clothings, spices and many more. Super cool and funky store with wacky flavored treats and some local souveniers. Definitely worth a walk through at a minimum!

This isn't usually the kind of store I would like. But I wandered in with my family a few weeks ago, and we actually had a great time! They have a crazy number of sodas! And crazy flavors!!! And they had some really fun/funny gifts and candies. We picked up a few gifts for a friend's birthday that was coming up. Cute shop! read more

There is a ton of flavors of popcorn - the initial draw for me - items with funny and whimsical quotes, cookbooks, candles, candy, magnets, books, clothing items and probably much more. Totally fun store in Ellicott City. Looking for a little something branded with the Maryland flag or Old Bay Spice? Well, this is your spot! This store is quirky and fun, and they have quite a variety of things to purchase. Shirts, hats, socks, books, toys, candy, knickknacks of all kinds. Wow, there's plenty to look at here. Adult and kid-friendly, if you're looking for a gift for a friend, i would start here. An old car and a large bear sit out front to welcome you into the store. We came at Christmas time, so there was plenty of cheery decor to welcome us and available to purchase. The store is deceptively large, and there are plenty of nooks and crannies, so make sure you walk the entire store. I ended up walking out with a couple pairs of socks, some old-time stick candy (that is huge - not your regular thin ones), and an Old Bay ornament (because why not?!). read more

I was born and raised in Maryland and moved away decades ago. I visit several times a year and EC Pops has been part of my travel routine. The owners are present and so personable. You can tell they enjoy their careers and the passion they have for the business. The many popcorn flavors are available in several sizes. You cannot go wrong with the Zebra popcorn. You'll also see a serious collection of nostalgic glass bottled sodas, including Moxie, Cheerwine, and dozens more. Make your own taste test soda pack! I always find and purchase Berger Cookies, a Baltimore mainstay. Nostalgic candy is available in at least fourty classics. Don't forget the selection of Maryland, Baltimore, Koreatown, Natty Bo, and Old Bay clothing. The sock selection is off the chain. There is truly a theme for everyone. Check the spices, kitchen decor and other awesome gift items for the food aficionado in your life. You'll also find an amazing array of Harry Potter and Star Wars merch. There are also classic games available. I find gifts for just because, birthday and holidays too. It's easy to get a single gift, and a variety to make your own gift basket. Such a fun spot! Must go if you are visiting old Elliott City. A wonderful eclectic walkable town with loads of history. EC Pops is located in the heart and offers all the Maryland novelty gifts you can think of. Old Bay, Natty Boh, candy, socks; if you need a gift - you will find one here. My favorite is the wall of bottles creative, craft soda pop. Guaranteed for a laugh! The fresh popcorn is a staple and my personal highlight of the store.
