My stylist, Mary Jane, had been recommended by a friend of mine. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint! I have been searching since 2007 in Central Florida, since moving here from NH, for a hair stylist to cut my hair the way that I want it done! FINALLY!!!! My search is over!!! Mary Jane sat me in her chair, listened as I explained what I wanted, we went over to the sink, then back to her chair & she worked her magic!!! VOILA!!! Within 30 minutes, my hair was cut & styled EXACTLY the way I wanted it, and also, at a very reasonable cost! Please contact the Beehive Salon, they are terriffic!!!!

Keep in mind that I am writing from the male perspective, but I have been a customer of high end salons since 2001 (Bumble and Bumble in New York, Michelle's Salon and Day Spa in the Berkshires, G20 Spa & Salon in Boston, just to name a few), and I would say that aside from the unnecessary frills (aka views of the Manhattan skyline, iced coffee, etc.) this place is just as good if not better than the best salon or barber I have ever been to. The only stylist who comes close is Shelly of Dellaria salon in Brookline, Massachusetts. I know that for some people, especially women I imagine, putting your trust in a new stylist can be scary, but from what I have observed as a customer, everyone comes away thrilled with their new haircut, coloring, extensions, etc. Me on the other hand; I just get the haircut, but her artistry and attention to detail is perfect for me. Totally satisfied customer and would recommend to anyone (male, female, or however you self-identify).

She did a terrible job, just did not seem to have a clue as what I wanted and really ruined it, so much so I had to go elsewhere and take off about 4 inches (which was upsetting because I was trying to grow it out again). After @ 8 weeks I was ready for color and cut but not confident to go back to the second stylist. I found industry salon here on Yelp through another former patron of my precious salon. She mentioned Ana used to work there, so I checked industry out and took a chance on Ana. Well she was terrific! She looked at the style I wanted (at this point I decided to stay shoulder length but with some shape - light layers so it doesn't look too short). The color is perfect and the style is just right-modern and sassy and really perfect for my hair and face. Thanks Ana I will recommend you to others looking for a fresh modern look and a stylist who knows how to do it!

Whaaaaat???? To avoid the embarrassment of leaving, and because I really needed service, we agreed to a partial instead for $500. To add insult to injury, I ended up with purple bleed onto the newly foiled blonde, and had to go back and get it fixed. Please make yourself aware the price beforehand. I feel the prices were outrageous and the results certainly didn't live up to the price.
