I would give him my absolute highest recommendation. not only did he save me thousands and thousands of dollars, but may have kept me out a jail. KPR: They've Got Your Back!…read more I'm happy to share what a helpful and positive accountant (and person!) I have found in Ken Rapoport, CPA. He not only provided QuickBooks files for when they prepared my tax returns for my business, but when I changed to being an SCorp, he took the time to explain to me the differences between being an LLC and an SCorp: In terms I could easily understand. And he let me ask as many questions as I wanted, which was a joy for me, as I like to learn and understand. You won't get service like Ken's In this day and age from a book, a video, or anything else. Ken is a Real Human Being, and I like his down-to-earth way of explaining even the most complex subjects about businesses or taxes. I sleep easy at night knowing that KPR prepared an immaculate tax return for my SCorp, along with sending me other additional tax forms that I needed to mail--because they are that good. They provide me with a "Taxpayer's Copy" of everything they give me to file. Big THANKS, KPR, for all you do for me and my business! Gina Kotz, President, WordPrep, Inc.

I beleive all the good reviews are left by family or friends. He takes a ton of money then never files your taxes yet demands you pay more and even tries to take you to court. Luckly the judge saw his record and the case was dropped because yet again Ken was trying to rip off clients.

Excellent accounting and tax services!…read more I was skeptical at first since there was no reviews on Yelp for smarter tax and finance. But after the consultation with Ahsan, I was very pleased. Ahsan is a knowledgeable accountant and he helped us clean our previous year's books for our LLC (we sell dog products) and filed personal taxes for me and my wife as well as my mother. For our tax filings, he helped us navigate through various deductions for our business and personal taxes such as home office deduction and advised on the best approach. He even spotted a couple mistakes made in our previous year's taxes which we filed with another accountant. For the accounting, he reviewed and cleaned all of our transactions for previous year in quickbooks. He patiently answered my million questions and walked me through the details on what needed to be fixed. Among many things, our inventory system was a mess which made it very difficult to calculate cost of good sold. He presented different options and calculated our cost of good sold for the year. Above all, I liked how he was caring in his approach and ensured that I am comfortable with both the accounting and tax filings. He walked me through our LLC and personal tax filings (almost line by line) which non of my previous accountants did. I will continue to work Ahsan for our book keeping and future tax filings. I highly recommend smarter tax & finance.

This year would be our 3rd year using Draus and Associates. We received a bill for double the amount we paid 3 years ago. We had less to claim and less work to be done with filling this year. They clearly state on their website that taxes are a FIXED price that both parties are clear about. This is a complete lie. We called for an explanation, and they said "prices go up every year". They took our money for the taxes and then didn't even file for months later. Avoid using this company.
