The Long Version: My husband and I were driving from Ottawa to Laval and stopped by this bakery to grab a snack. Everything looked delicious, but we settled on a raspberry cannolo and a chocolate lobster tail pastry. They were $5.95 each. The raspberry cannolo was tasty. The shell was crunchy and the filling was a ricotta cheese filling with raspberries. The lobster tail pastry was even more delicious. One end was dipped in chocolate and crushed hazelnuts. The pastry was rich and flakey and the filling was a creamy chocolatey custard. The lobster tail pastry was larger and I feel it was more bang for our buck. They had lots of pastries including Napoleons and croissants. I had a chuckle when I saw that they had the French-Canadian pastry called Pets de Soeur because it translates to Nun's Farts. Lol. It's spiraled pie dough with butter and sugar. I'm actually not a fan of the taste, but I find the name hilarious. Anyway, they also have breads and pizzas, as well as savoury items like Arancini and Calzones. Staff were pleasant. I would love to return to try other items. They have free parking on-site. It's diagonal parking, and the lot is a bit narrow, so a little difficult to maneuver if the lot is full. Worth the hassle though. Review #100 (2025)

Since sold, no longer the Chartier family. Beautiful location , super clean and a great layout…read more Good prices since they changed their pricing policy. Usually the veggies are fresh, and they have an excellent prepared meal section. Also there is a Sushi take out !

Whenever I go in there they try to open my shopping bags at the cash. Without my consent. They claim its to put my groceries n the bags. I told them many f me Id do it myself yet they keep going for my bags everytime. It must be done deliberately to start a fight and harass me. They have bad people working there. I recently was going to buy a Kleenex and the amount would not show up on their checkout. Odd! So a clerk went to check the price and after a long wait she came back and said it's $3.99. I thought it was $1.99. So I went to ask the manager who invited me to go check the price with her. When the clerk saw me going over to the manager she ran ahead of me to block me and get there first. So something's going on there. I reported them to the manager and it was another brand of Kleenex at $1.99. The manager put the purchase through as I decided to buy it. But all that cheap to purchase a box of kleenex. It wasted 20 minutes of my time. Typo - but all that crap to purchase a box of kleenex I told them many times before that Id put the groceries in the bags myself...
