We were excited to see the worlds largest Cuckoo clock, and to be fair, it was worth a viewing. The clock is in a very pretty area with a river in the heart of the Black Forest. The cuckoo which weighs about 330lbs 'rings' every half hour. Very glad we saw the noon display.
However we ran into the 'disabled' issue once again. There are NO disabled toilets, or toilets without paying to see the workings of the clock. There is also no disabled parking. We were told to go to the local town of Triburg to use a disabled toilet. The town sits on a VERY steep hill which if you have a larger person with mobility issues is a big workout.
All in all don't make a special trip, but stop if you are driving past. read more
