I went to the one on Dunn Avenue Jacksonville FL. I went in for my appt. and waited quite a while…read moreand went to the back for a repair to my 55 year old lower denture. I showed the woman what was wrong that needed repair and she took it to the back to the lab and told me it would be $205.00 to be paid before the service was rendered. She told me to come and pick them up at three pm which was about four hours. A different woman went and got my teeth and cleaned them in the sink and I put them in and they were the same as when I brought them in. I told her they hadn't been fixed so I showed her where they needed fixing. I also noticed a metal piece protruding from the plastic gum part, right below where the top of the teeth needed fixing. She went back and forth several times and finally she said "well, he fixed that tooth right there, which was a tooth that was replaced by another dentist maybe 10 years ago. I also noticed they did something to a tooth in the front on the other side that is now dark and showing through to make it look like I had a cavity. I emailed them when I got home after a good cry and again the next morning. I got a call and he had the right name but was calling for some bogus set up for some appts. I told him what happened and he said he would look into it and get back to me and I didn't hear anything else. I think I emailed Corporate this morning with no avail. My appt. was 3 days ago so we will see. I am not going to let it go. I will take them to small claims court if I have to. I am on a fixed income and $205.00 is a lot of money..

When you show up at your appointment time they tell you oh no your appointment time is this. When you ask to speak to a manager they tell you the same line you got the last time it happened oh with our system updates it changes the time and we can't go in and call everyone to advise of the change.... But you can charge a no show fee.... If you need a dentist please pick another one. This dentist Dr Stroud should never be recommended to anyone. K I med my nasal cavity so my nose now runs all the time after he completed my surgery. He never read my notes before trying to start my surgery that I was supposed to be put in twilight. Just walked up and was getting ready to complete my surgery. I looked at him and said who are you? He said Dr stroud, I said why do I know you are here, he looked at me puzzled. During his surgery I threw up 4 times and I heard him say suction her throat and make sure there is nothing back there... I remember every crunching sound and more...when surgery was finally over they wheeled me out with a biohazard bag because I still felt nauseous. When I got to my car I needed to throw up and to no shock to me they NEVER gave me the biohazard bag to throw up in... so please DO NOT GIVE THIS OFFICE YOUR MONEY. Find an office that cares about patient care and respect of the patients time. Dr David would be So unhappy with how his legacy has changed. I should have put the pieces together when all of his staff left shortly after is unexpected passing. I have a 5 year contract for maintenance that I have paid for and this office is supposed to honor that. Since the dentist is still here. They have stated they are doing it as a courtesy. Marion spoke to me on 11/11/25 and notated that Dr Stroud is not to be in my room and today because I am standing ground I can no longer be seen here. To top it off Marion is stating she never spoke to me on 11/11/25, but my notes say I did as I have her name written down for reference. Then, coughed on me several times during the procedure. Apparently his doctor called to cancel his afternoon appointment(which I didn't need to know). He spent half of the appointment dealing with that, stopping several times to answer the phone. Did he wash his hands or change his gloves after? Not that I could see. I couldn't say anything because there were too many things holding my mouth open. The girl assisting seemed like she was about to cry the entire time. He kept getting on her about not knowing what to do. She seemed brand new. This truly was the most unprofessional display. Absolutely will not be returning.
