Because it's part of a shopping centre, this particular EB Games isn't that large so I can't be a huge fan of it. However, it does have a decent selection for a lot of the "main games", so if you're looking for something a lot more popular, you can trust this place. PC Gaming: This place is NOT very good for PC Gaming. They have much more of a Xbox or PS3 selection. This is a bit disappointing because PC Gaming is the wave of the future - better graphics and in my opinion, much better control. It sucks that some game shops don't respect it. Essentially, if you're more of an Xbox gamer, this is the store for you. It's not that big, so it'll be good for bigger-named games. However, if you're more of a gaming fan go elsewhere.

Sometimes they can get busy, so you might have to wait a little bit by the registers to get served - but once that service comes, there is always a smile. Prices are not fantastic, and that is the same across the chain. That being said, they often have hard-to-find items, and the pick-up from an online order will generally fulfil any niche desire you might have.

Most of my recent PC purchases have been through digital distribution, and it's just much more convenient. Doesn't work as well for consoles yet. I preordered Red Dead Redemption from here for my PS3 a long time ago. It was great, as I was assured to get it on the first day it was released. Got it, no problems. Spent every free minute for the next week and a bit playing it. Good times were had. If you're shopping for games for consoles, this is one of your best bets in this area.

However, upstairs there's a Nintendo level upstairs where there is both Nintendo merchandise and consoles. You can try various consoles or play with mates (or strangers!) and see older consuls as well. It's like a mini version of the Nintendo store in New York! There are items here I haven't seen in any other EB stores. There's also a huge range of Pop vinyls with lots of new items I haven't seen in any other toy stores, like Beca from Pitch Perfect. Love it!

If your love of music extends beyond listening to everything on your phone or computer, you'll be thrilled that stores like Title still exist. Geared towards music collectors, they have a wide range of vinyl available for those that still own record players. Or if you were considering going lo-fi and buying a record player, at least you know you can still get both classic and up to date records for it. Great for gifts if you have a music loving friend or relative. They also stock films and books. I don't even own a DVD player so I typically have no interest in browsing hard copies, but the movie collection at Title is geared more to the cult classics and documentaries, the kind of interesting films that you won't find in those weird vending machines near the supermarket (seriously do people use those?) The book collection is similar - lots of classics and non-fiction books. Again, awesome for gifts. The kind of store you'll likely 'just have a look' and wind up leaving with something unexpectedly awesome.

It's so pleasant in here that I quite deliberately take my time flicking through the CDs, vinyl, DVDs and books, carefully pondering each one and enjoying the sense of peace that comes over me. Title has an excellent collection of hard-to-find film titles on DVD so if there's something you can't find anywhere else, it's likely to be here. If not, just ask the really nice guys who work here and they'll probably be more than happy to have a chat about it with you, and if at all possible, I'm sure they'll order it in for you.

Gatekeeper Games has every shape/form/fashion of board games. I popped in to make a VERY important purchase... Cards Against Humanity. I walked in and asked where I might find it, as essentially this store is like a library of games - you really do need a bit of direction. They immediately pointed it out to me and took me through the different editions of the game (Australian, American, British) and I quickly made a purchase. I was in and out in just a few minutes - that is efficient customer service! You will also find games including Warhammer, Star Wars Rebellion, Game of Thrones - everything you could imagine. Also, Gatekeeper Games also regularly holds gaming nights - so if you in the market to make new friends and play fun games, you now know where to head.

Okay, I had been past here a couple of times, but had never had the desire, or the time, to pop in and have a look around. Anyway, like a lot of gaming shops, the focus these days tends to be Euro-games and card games, however they do have a small collection of roleplaying games, but the collection is somewhat smallish. However, they also have gaming rooms, and on top of the gaming events, they also have some special nights, including a caberet night, which I have to admit is pretty cool.

Feel free to lean up against a wall or have a quick sit on the ground to rifle through the pages. The staff are friendly and helpful, but when it is busy you may need to wait to catch their eye. They are knowledgeable about locations of particular books and editions and always happy to make a suggestion for a gift.
