I love going to Eat The Streets 757 food truck events, plus their lunchtime and brewery events. Love the variety of trucks they bring out.

They were pretty busy but we were able to park. It was seat yourself so we picked a high top near the window. It took a moment for someone to get to us but our server was kind and helpful. We got the bulgogi cheesesteak egg rolls (6 pieces). They are always a big hit. It's a large appetizer so definitely shareable for a group. We then tried the Asian Zing wings and their ranch. Both are amazing. The wings were sauced really well and weren't too spicy but had plenty of flavor. The ranch was AMAZING. My boyfriend got the chicken bacon pineapple burrito bowl and had plenty of food. He said it was balanced "yummy". Finally, I got the sweet-n-salty jerk chicken taco and a pew pew shrimp taco. The jerk chicken had a bit more spice than I like to it and not enough of the pineapple to cut it. The pew pew taco was two large shrimp which I ended up eating with a fork because the taco was too full to get a bite of everything. Overall everything was really good. Whoever was on the chive station cut them too big and was a little heavy handed. Overall, great food & a good atmosphere (if you're ok with sports on the TV and an eclectic playlist)! They have a stage for live music and it looked like a game room. Will have to check that out next time!

Granted its a Saturday but still.. Finally a girl acknowledged us and it was ok! Until i stood at bar waiting to ask for a water and they literally kept looking at me or in my direction yet nobody said a word smfh! ‍ i had to yell at one guy to ask for water & finally got it. We left to run errand, came back sat down and same thing again nobody acknowledged us which is insane because waitresses kept walking near us helping other tables & we made eye contact hella times! Smh i was ready to spend money money but nobody wanted it i suppose smfh sad hopefully they tighten up!! Cause i had a large party thinking of coming soon but now idk

I look around, and what do I see?!... A tiny little food cart that says "Flamingo Joes." Now I must say that my expectations weren't all that high upon approaching the beachside cart. All I wanted was a some grub to stop the belly growling and so I could get back in the water ASAP. I begin to consider my options..., "mmmm.... chicken philly sub... I've never had one of those. I guess I'll try it..." OMGosh!!! That chicken philly sub was FIRE!!! I'd have to say that it was better than 90% of the restaurant food that I've had in the last couple of years!!! This sub totally took me by surprise! Now I must say that part of that had to do with the "beachside food cart chef" on duty, Ty. He hooked my chicken philly up!!! I had never had a chicken philly sub until going to Flamingo Joe's and they definitely did not disappoint. If there ever was such a thing as "food cart gourmet," Flamingo Joe's is the place to go to get it. It was so good that I actually went back TWICE to get chicken philly subs, and although they were good, they never were quite as good as they were when Ty made them... But I think I know why. It all boiled to his technique. When Ty prepared the sub, he grilled the onions and green peppers longer, allowing them to soften more which made a huge difference than the ones I had on the next couple of days. Don't get me wrong, they were still great subs, but not quite as good as the first one. So, if you happen to go by Flamingo Joe's, hopefully you'll be able to have Ty make your sub, but if not, just ask the person making the sub to grill the veggies longer and allow them to soften more and you should be fine. On top of offering a phenomenal chicken philly sub for $6, the staff was extremely friendly and very engaging. Couple that with the stellar beachside location of this food cart, and I think I'd be safe to say that Flamingo Joe's is the BEST food cart that I've ever been too! Hands down. If you find yourself chillin' on the beach, you owe it to yourself to hustle over to Flamingo Joe's and grab a quick bite to eat. You'll be glad you did!

I've had friends go in previous years, and this year was my turn. Now that I've experienced it for myself, I can say I'll be at every wine festival next year ,spring and fall included! As someone still expanding my wine palate, this was such an amazing experience. The vendors were sweet, knowledgeable, and so patient, There were a two wines Im obsessed with one that tasted exactly like a green tea shooter (I was sold on that one!), and another combo where the vendor mixed a strawberry wine with a chocolate red wine to make a chocolate-covered strawberry flavor

The best things I can tell you are vendors are happy to serve you, you might wanna get there early, and either get a group and buy a table to sit or a hotel near by for a lil mid wine fest nap lol. TRUST I get out there, try my wines, then wake up from my nap with money in hand to buy the best ones!! Def something fun to do and since all the wines are local? It ain't nothing but a fun day or even weekend trip to go grab a bottle at the winery you couldn't stay away from. I give it high ranks. Oh and of course? The food good too. Plenty of food trucks out there with a lot of different options. I usually just get a bucket of fries from one vendor (and if you keep the bucket it's like 4$ refills anytime they're over there) and then try something new I didn't try last time. This past time I just wanted the ribbon fries and some wings. I was asleep boy I tell ya. I have one bad for me. That is I feel like I see these wineries only. I love that it's a Va wine fest but where the rest of the wineries?? I feel like I had about the same options both times but maybe I'm just remembering wrong But yeah. Wine fest get your tickets early and beat me there don't meet me there.

I have been here several times to pick up food, but this was my first time actually going inside to order. The line was long around lunchtime, but it moved quickly. It is fast casual style, so you walk down the line choosing what you want and then pay at the register. I honestly had no idea that was how it worked before, so I was prepared to wait a while. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was. I was in and out much faster than expected. While putting my order together, the man helping me handed me a sample rib over the counter. I am a very socially awkward person and do not handle unexpected moments very gracefully, so I probably reacted a little awkwardly. That part was on me. The rib was GOOD though. He was very kind about my reaction and even handed me a napkin. The whole staff was friendly, asking how my week was going and checking in to make sure everyone was happy. Even though it was busy, they clearly care about customer service. The food was great. The garlic and green onion sausage had so much flavor, and the bananamisu was the perfect sweet finish. I originally went in hoping to order the BBQ oxtail, but they were sold out within two hours of opening, which honestly says a lot about how good they must be. I had also gone the day before around 7 PM and they had already closed because they were sold out for the day. Just a heads up that they do close early if they run out of food. Overall, great food, friendly staff, and quick service. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will finally catch the oxtail next time.
