I had a second appointment with Samantha for deep tissue massage and I'm even better. Some things I like about Samantha: She is calm and kind. During massage she NEVER talks my ear off. If I say nothing at all, then she says nothing at all. If I ask her a question, she answers well with her knowledge and talking stops again. If you don't chat, she won't chat. I like that. Samantha is very good at her job! I let her know all my problems and Samantha went to work on my issues and I felt so good and relaxed during and after. I've had other massages but Samantha is theeeee BEST!! I just booked my third appointment with her today. I texted her and she got right back to me and the appointment was easily and quickly made. There are no negatives about the entire experience! I was amazed as her knowledge of all the sore spots she found. It's like she went straight to them. Now, I requested a deep tissue massage so Samantha might be little but she is mighty! At one point I grimaced a bit and she automatically lightens pressure and remembers and works a super sore spot in different ways that will be more comfortable for client.

Hanan Cosmetics also sells beautiful accessories (ie. purses, jewerly and perfumes, etc.). Honestly, I sometimes go there just to shop for jewerly. The owner (Hanan) is a lovely woman who sells unique trinkets, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. She has an incredible eye for distinctive pieces. They offer makeup and waxing services, but also have fabulous gift items like trendy jewelry and bags and skin care items that I love to browse before my appointment. There are several cosmetologists at Hanan's, but I think Marie is the most talented. I see Marie every couple months or so to get my eyebrows waxed. Of all the places I've gone, Marie is the best. She is so much fun to talk to and does a PERFECT job. I never feel any pain and she makes me feel totally pampered. Once she is done perfecting my eyebrows, she usually finishes up by filling in my brows, or adding some eye shadow to a touch of gloss. She always picks flattering colors and takes her time, I never feel rushed. I haven't gotten my makeup done yet at Hanan, but I have seen the results of others and it always looked great (but is a little pricey). I also know that they will come to you to apply your makeup, but they charge a travel fee.

My mom got her hair cut and colored and she couldn't stop talking about how much she LOVED her cut -- she even said she hasn't been this happy with a hair cut in over 10 years. So THAT alone speaks for itself. The ladies are also all extremely friendly (I should know, I went in there to make an appt, and after 45 mins of talking/chit-chatting, I walked out - lol). Sue had some of the girls come in for our appt at 6am (had to get glammed up for a wedding), and they did a phenomenal job!!! Not to mention, they brought breakfast and made coffee for everyone there... This salon and these ladies ROCK!!!! If you live in MI, and have gone anywhere else but here, you're insane. I'm gonna be flying out for my next hair appt... so you Michiganders need to take advantage of the amazing opportunity you have with these talented ladies so close to you. (who knows, maybe I'll convince Sue to move the salon to Phoenix... wishful thinking, I know... but still, maybe?)
