I wanted to go to St. Tropez for the buzz around it but I would have preferred a small town by…read moretrain and not this boat with 300 people on it. After making a reservation in the States, we had to validate/pay the day before the tour. If you want coffee, Bring cash because cards are not accepted. No orders or bathroom use while the boat is in any of the ports. Also, they don't tell you that they stop at Ste. Margaurite & Cannes, which added 15 minutes so we didn't get into port until 11:45. Once there's, It's very much a tourist trap with no free wifi on board nor in the town. I went to L'esquinade Plage. It's both a restaurant (full menu) and beach where you can rent a chair, bed and/or umbrella and food (limited menu). We had drinks and dipped in and out and it was beautiful. Coming back people are not patient because everyone wants on the top of the boat (not us). Children just howling on board and 2 3/4 hours of that is enough. I would not do this again. I would go to the town east of here - French Ville sur Mer- or something like that and go to a beach club there.

Driving and taxi takes forever and there is always traffic. The famous trains in Europe go nowhere near it. So either you take your helicopter or yacht. I'm not Puff Daddy so the only way I could get to St.Tropez is through Trans Cote D'Azur. It's a transfer boat or ferry that goes from Nice, France to St. Tropez in about 2 1/2 hours. The price is $56 Euros which is about $85 dollars. I know what your thinking... The French Riviera is not for budget travelers. Work hard, play hard is my motto. That being said, food and drinks are reasonably priced on the boat. The staff is friendly and helpful and that's saying a lot in France, majority of the French are (shut yo mouth). I'm gonna be good. Worth the money and St.Tropez is a nice place to visit, not a place to stay for any long amount of time. So if you find yourself in South France and wanting to go to St Tropez. Trans Cote D'Azur is the only way to go.
