We had a small load of laundry to complete. The setup here is a little different compared to how things operate back in the states. You don't put the money in the machine that's being used. It's engaged from the menu selection on the wall. There's an option for credit card, but I used cash instead. They have a machine that sells detergent for a couple €s but the change machine doesn't actually give you change unless you engage a machine to start first. I had no issues with washing and drying. For each load we stepped out for lunch, then a cup of espresso. The one wash and dry cycle with detergent set me back about 12€... Give or take. There were no employees or attendants here, but plenty of cameras. The one small issue I did have was when I purchased the detergent it did not feed out. I had to bang on the machine a couple of times until the detergent eventually came out. read more
