Nice older gentleman in a booth, parked, got the ticket, moseyed on to the airport in about 2 minutes flat. Came back 2 days later, another nice older gentleman in the booth, paid $36 for two days and went on our merry way. Nothing "happened" to the vehicle - I guess Tesla is not that interesting to thieves, but ofc I could be wrong - and it was a very easy entrance and exit. Yep, will use again!

Airport does look somewhat dated but not that bad. I would prefer flying to BUR versus LAX as less crazy experience overall. The dropoff & pickup area at BUR is relatively small but it seemed to move fine. The path into and around the airport for cars is a little odd and missed a turn once so went back around.
