USE W CAUTION! Had a leak in my bathroom. Suspected it was behind the cabinet. Called Klaus and…read moreasked him to remove the back of the cabinet to expose the pipes. We noticed some mold and that was quickly removed. He came w two young guys and a dehumidifier (which he left on for the week). When I checked back w them after an hour, Klaus had DRILLED 3/4" HOLES ALL ALONG MY CABINET BOTTOM and in the sheetrock (12 total)!!! We NEVER discussed this! He actually did DAMAGE while I was not in the room! I asked him why he did this. He claimed that it was to "air it out" and that it was "easy to repair" by installing a wood strip over the holes! Wow, not what I wanted for sure. Two thing Klaus kept asking me the entire 2 hrs that he was at my house was 1.) is this going to be a homeowner insurance claim, and 2.) he wanted to REMOVE the cabinet, and even suggested coming at the leak from the OUTSIDE of the house! The literally cut through our exterior wall. Months went by as we tried to close the leak (which we did). In the meantime Klaus sends my a bill for $700! For what? Doing damage in 2hrs?! I told him to COMPLETE the job by repairing the damage he did and I would pay him. That was Summer, now it's Winter and Edelweiss has done 0. And the leak was in the floor.

He painted my entire house, repaired drywall, and finished/painted the garage, not to mention laid epoxy on the floor, so it was quite a job. I will say that it took longer than I'd anticipated, starting at the end of 2018 and finally wrapping up in February 2020. There were even times that I thought Aaron had disappeared for good, but he had a lot going on in his personal life and still managed to come through. What I can also say is that he was friendly, offered plenty of helpful advice, and really went the extra mile on the work itself, such as adding sealant for free when the epoxy didn't look good. His prices were among the most reasonable, and he made every effort to fix the little things when the major tasks were finished. He was hired for additional work, such as repairing wall cracks or water damage to the ceiling, and made sure to finish those properly as well. Perhaps there are folks who would have completed the job more quickly, but Aaron went above and beyond without charging 1 1/2 or 2 times the amount like others were asking. He really endeavors to make his work a business relationship, not just a transaction, and I am glad to recommend him to others.
