Hello, My name is Brittany. I was 19 years old when I decided to buy my first car. After many weeks of searching I came across Easy Drive USA. After several days of going through their inventory I picked a 2008 VoltsWagon Tiguan. Although it had high mileage, it was kept in good condition (so I was told.) I loved the beautiful sun/moon roof that the car had just had installed. The paperwork showed that it was brand new and was less than two weeks old in the car. The day I purchased my car, not even driving an hour before I tried to close the sun visor on the sunroof, it came off the tracks and popped off. When I took it back to Easy Drive, just three hours after it broke I was promised it would be fixed. They advised I take it across the street to Ford to have it fixed. When I took it there a week later they gave me the run around and kept my car for a week before telling me they couldn't get the parts to fix it. Keep in mind the whole week they had my car they told me the parts were on the way... With a broken sun visor and the hot Florida heat, you can imagine I wasn't very happy. I repeatedly called the manager of Easy Drive (Ralph) and he gave me a million excuses. Ralph was VERY unprofessional and rude. He refused to fix my run visor even though he said the car was more because it was brand new. Although, I still loved my first car and was in a contract with it, so live and learn?
I kept my car in good condition as I changed the oil and breaks when it was due. Almost a year into me owning my car my engine unexpectedly blew. If anyone is familiar with VW they are expensive to repair. When I took it to the mechanic, they informed me the frame was torn up, fuel pump was ripped, and saw dust was in the engine. I was very upset, to fix my car was worth more than what I owed left on it. During this whole time Ralph was avoiding my phones calls. When I decided to get a new car and asked for my payment records nor him or his sectary could not produce them. After driving up there and threating to file a report for fraud they emailed them to me. Later I found out they didn't submit any of my car transactions to any credit union. They also forgot to give my payment to the lien holder and I was charged with a late payment. To anyone who is reading this, go somewhere else. The people of Easy Drive USA are crooks and liars. I lost so much money and it was a huge lesson learned. The manager Ralph is a snake. He will act nice to you, but the minute you drive away with your car he will harass you with payment phone calls (no matter if your current) He will not help you with your problems and his employees or himself with not take any kind of ownership nor will they take any kind of confrontation. Instead they all hide and make FALSE threats! Through out the 13 months I had my car, Ralph magically lost my car paper work and wouldn't ever produce it to me. They are disorganized and untruthful. Please, please, please, look somewhere else. read more
