This company runs the Carolina shuttle service from Greenville Airport to Charlotte Airport. I was referred to them as a convenient way to get to Charlotte Airport when you have departing flights from Charlotte. I am 20 years in the travel industry and I've never been so appalled by the lack of compassion and customer service from the owner who didn't understand when my return pick up never showed and never had any communication of the driver confirming the time and the pick up location at Charlotte airport. My flight was delayed and I had no way to communicate to anybody to come back and pick me up that I was stranded at the airport as a single woman by myself during a period when there were a lot of cancellations that I had a book a hotel room that was limited and availability for them to only understand with voicemails that I left over the night after hours to have somebody call me back and schedule my pick up for the next day. There was no customer service. There was no return phone calls. He did not care about my situation other than he told me he got me back safely and I told him that was their job. I would never use this company again because of their lack of compassion and lack of customer service regardless if I'm one person or I'm hundreds of people for an event. Avery, Regardless of the situation beyond control of travel conditions, Carolina Shuttle service fails in basic customer service and communication to customers who reserve seats without a confirmation or a way to confirm the pick up location, driver and type of vehicle as they have a fleet with various types and names. There was no consideration to my situation or at a minimum an apology when it was admitted communication was a problem. I will share my experience with my local friends and travel colleagues who understand how shuttle service should operate properly. I felt disrespected and dismissed. Paid nearly $400 (they were highest priced, but they are the sanctioned ground transport provider at GSP, so I figured they were safest bet) to have them pickup my aged parents, who have trouble walking, on a late flight. They were 30min late and did not contact my parents... they had to figure all this out themselves after midnight. So, if you're looking to pay a high price and not have the driver be on time, they would be a great choice. read more

wow. The most rude receptionist I have ever spoken to. last year I used the service to go to the airport and the driver was very nice and it cost $115 approx. I called 9 months later to schedule another airport run and the receptionist told me $316. I asked why did it triple. She proceeded to tell me I was " grossly undercharged" and said very angrily " the driver has to drive all the way to here and the. go there and then back here again" As if it were my fault I was " grossly undercharged " stay away from this company read more

Ended up getting stranded by the airline, and they provided transport vouchers to and from hotel a short ride away. Before leaving airport, booked a return ride for the morning. Ride over quick and comfortable. Went to lobby the next morning 5 mins before pickup time 0515, when no ride showed by 0525, began calling. No answer, voice mail left, continued to call "all agents a serving other customers please hold". called every 5 mins, at 0545 scheduled Lyft, almost missed flight. read more

Sent an email for a quote, didn't receive my quote until the following day (day of the reservation). I replied to the email, accepting the cost and asking how to pay, few minutes later I get a phone call. Lady on the phone is confused about my direction of travel, however I double checked my original email and it was very clear, (airport to my home). After finally figuring out my request she quoted me a different amount from the original email quote. I decided at this point to go with a taxi or an UberXL, which would be about 60% cheaper. read more

I arrived at 12:30am from my trip and planned to use the airport transportation at the airport which used to be Atkinson Transportation. When I called to book the ride I was informed the service is now Eastside Transportation. The price for the exact ride I always took is now $97.00 before tip. The previous price was $67.00.. what a ridiculous price. Buyer beware... call Atkinson Transport in advance or use your UBER or LYFT app. read more

I ordered a bus for a large group outing. After a little hiccup in the reservation process, we finally got everything squared away. The driver arrived on time, helped me load all the materials for the group and was super kind and helpful. I am not sure if I will need this service again in the future, but if I do, I will go back to these guys. read more

We've worked with Eastside Transportation for over 15 years & have never had a negative experience. Their drivers act as professionals should, often going out of their way to accommodate client's needs. Vehicles are always clean & drivers on time. As a C-level client, I'm pleased with their service. I noticed a reputed "road rage" incident reported in another review. The pictures indicate the Eastside vehicle was hit in the rear. This would indicate to me the following driver was at fault. If there was "road rage", it seems to me it was probably on the part of the reviewer. read more

booked this company back in march of 2022 for a september wedding. reserved 3 busses. it took them over 30 days to charge my card, someone in the office don't have it together. 30 days prior i canceled the 3rd bus we only need 2, all of the wedding party and parents were driving to pretty place for earlier pictures. soooooo rehersal dinner we look at the contract which.... so wrong of the bride and groom but they had never reviewed it. anyhow these fools literally wrote the wrong hilton hotel address to pick up at and screwed up the time. i call in a panic which sends my daughter on a rampage and well...... morning of the wedding they pick up all is well till i get back home in baltimore and 6 days later realize they now charge me another $188.25 per bus after... they claim the bus was later getting to the venue, southern bleachery. which i did what the suggested and called the day of coordinator and asked she said our busses were on time. but their drivers do their own time cards, who's to tell really if this is fact and they just wanted to get more money. my original total $1,506 the fees added $376 new total $1,882 lesson learned not all southern hospitality is a good vibe!! Came to the Embassy suite in Greenville for the Bonitz trade show. We used this transportation service to go to our activities for the day. We went to Lemans Karting to ride go karts. We proceeded to load the bus back up and return to the hotel to find out I left my purse in the locker at the karting place. The driver offered to take me to retrieve it! While I was frantic and upset he calmed me quickly with that generous offer. I am so thankful for this service! Bill will not be forgotten. He saved the day! Also the busses are clean and comfortable! Use them when you can! read more

Arrived GSP airport at 2140 and I immediately called my hotel for their van service, but the hotel was not answering their phone (a problem they later sorted out). After 45 minutes, now 2225, I walked over to the Eastside Transportation desk at baggage claim and asked about a ride to the hotel. The fellow at the desk said it would be $30 for the five to seven minute ride to the hotel. Without other options I was obliged to be "taken for a ride." When the Eastside Transport driver arrived, he agreed the fare was ridiculous for so short a distance. He got a decent tip, but Eastside gets one star. read more

I've had some minor difficulties with them in the past, but I chose to overlook those. I'm a frequent traveler with the company, and so you become familiar with their quirks. Today's treatment I received was unacceptable. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I was made aware that my billing info needed to be changed (as my cards were recently changed) and I made them aware that I'd update them with it later, as we were on a short trip to the airport at 6:00am. A driver that's frequently driven me then proceeded to call their office, holding his phone while driving down the highway. When we reached the airport, he then made me aware that I'd need to resolve the billing information before I was allowed to exit the car. Needless to say, I felt upset. I've never had any issues with payment, and to them to not extend a courtesy to me is entirely unacceptable. I cannot suggest this company, as they may or may not hold you hostage in their car. The service was awful. I booked a trip. I had a confirmation. I paid for the trip. That should be all I needed to do on my end. I wake up get ready I am in my driveway at the 445 a.m. pickup time with no ride. I then check my email for the confirmation to check the time I set and there is an email sent at 2 a.m. That read there will be no one available to pick you up. NO ONE AVAILABLE What kind of low rent half baked business does this. When it is that early in the morning you CALL. At 2 a.m. I could have had time to fix the problem. Oh wait a minute you should have fixed the problem by hiring out Uber or a taxi to come get me and take the loss for your screw up. At least I would have some kind of respect for your judgment and may have tried your service again. Now, I have no time and no ride. I had to wake up my whole family up so my wife could drive me to the airport.THANK YOU EASTSIDE for the outstanding customer experience. You should not be in business driving anyone. I should have called uber or lyft. OH that's right if I had time I could have and they would have charged me 20.00 less for the same trip. I travel a lot and know so many people like myself. For this to be my first experience with this company YOU REALLY SCREWED UP. I will never call you again. There will not be a second chance or any kind of redemption here. In addition now i need to monitor my credit card as I do not any confirmation of a refund yet. I am spreading the word to all my friends and anyone who will listen that Eastside transportation is the worst service in the area and they would be better off walking to the airpirt rather than use your incompetent service.
