VIS Design rebuilt our deck as the previous one needed to be replaced due to rot issues that made…read moreit unstable as well as replacing the stairs and landing outside our laundry room. Since it is a large deck on a on a slope, we knew it was not something we could do ourselves. After listening to our hopes and ideas, they developed a couple concepts for us to consider before we settled on a plan. After we agreed on the concept Victor and John came and gave us their appraisal and bid in a very timely manner. Although they had other projects before us, they began gathering materials and doing the new foundations for the new deck in early November. Although cost does enter the picture, they were fair in their understanding of our goals and needs and stayed on our agreed upon budget. Their requests for a deposit and funds along the way were reasonable. When we needed an additional week for the funds to come into our accounts as additional materials were ordered and delivered, they understood and continued the work. It was easy to communicate with them through person to person, phone calls, e-mails and/or texts. We decided to go with the Rocky Harbor Trex design and watched each day as the project progressed until it was done. Even with the November winds and rain, they showed up and worked throughout each day. Their work ethic and skills are second to none! When it was done, the new deck exceeded our expectations not only for the design, but also the stability, their professionalism, keeping us informed throughout the process, and their understanding of the many questions we had along the way. The photos below show the end product that we are looking forward to using more in the coming days. A definite 5 Star Review and recommendation!

When they came to give us an estimate, Andres crawled up in our crawl space to really get a good feel for what our insulation looked like and to see how the roof looked like from the underside. They made suggestions to us for things that should be done even if they weren't the contractor that did them. After interviewing other roofers, we decided to give Innovators our business. They added some insulation in a few places that didn't have it for a very reasonable price and did a top notch job with the air flow. Now, in the heat of the summer, the house is at least a 10 degree difference from the same heat last year. It is amazing! The roof looks beautiful! They came back to fix one little part immediately and we could not be happier! So, we have hired them for 2 other projects and been completely pleased with their work. Nelson is super easy to work with on the business side and Andres is a total perfectionist when it comes to his work. They installed a period dining room window for us and it looks stunning thanks to Andres careful attention to detail. They enjoy doing good work! We have them lined up for a couple more projects now. I almost don't want to leave such a good review because I don't want them to get any busier! We feel like they are family now though so we won't go anywhere else!

Even though we had some lower estimates from other companies, we felt so confident with Micha's ideas that, after looking at other reviews/images of this company, we decided to go with Steller Construction. Micha's team was absolutely amazing!!! Ray, our project's lead employee/carpenter, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and had an unbelievable work ethic! The rest of the team, Josh and Kevin, did an awesome job as well. They communicated well throughout the whole job, always checking in with us to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were professional and very polite every day. At the end of each day, they completely cleaned up the area. We worked with one other construction company and a roofing company when we did some remodeling on our last home, and we did not have good experiences with either company.
