From the black and white striped floor, to the riot of colourful clothing on the rails and the shiny silver changing room curtain, it's clear that the EP boutique (the Easton Pearson diffusion line) isn't going to appeal to the minimalist brigade.
I've long thought EPs big sister was exceedingly overpriced, so it's good to see that this diffusion line, while not scrimping on quality, is a tad more affordable with a slight "vintage" feel.
I loved the quirky prints, especially the one of a lady in a white, 1950s style swimming costume on water skiis (which seemed to be used on quite a lot of pieces).
It was used to particularly good effect, I thought, on a pair of burgundy high-waisted shorts I saw with navy blue, scalloped edges.
So if you've always been put off by the prohibitive expense of the Eastern Pearson line, then you just might find something cute here in EP that won't involve remortgaging your house. read more
