This school is really about what they say: Faith, Reason, and Justice, and the campus is beautiful.

I was declined entry into a master's program here, and still don't understand the reasons. I am completely thriving in my field now!

Best advice I got before I got there was to get a season basketball ticket, you kept it for all 4 years. Fieldhouse games and all the Big 5 weekly double headers at Penn's Palestra. Not all fun and games you had to study but back then there were no TVs in every room, just in a community room, so you were able to find what ever you needed. And who can forget Simpson, the adopted dog by, wait for it, Simpson Hall. Student demonstrations against Vietnam war, Nixon breaking the news that Vietnam was ending, but doing it during the NBA all star game was heartless. As you know, Pope Leo XIV is an Alumnus of Villanova University Catholic theology. Appropriately, Villanova (and the other catholic school, Notre Dame) are finalizing plans for a historic men's and women's basketball doubleheader to open the 2026-27 season in Rome, Italy, on November 1, 2026. The games will take place at the 3,500-seat Palazzetto dello Sport, Pala Tiziano, located 30 minutes from Vatican City. This is the first time College basketball season kicks off in Europe! We're very excited as true Villanova college basketball fans. Let's go Nova!!! Thank you

Whether it's participating in the Special Olympics Fall Festival (the largest student-run event of its kind in the world) or just hanging out at the Oreo, there is a genuine sense that people care about each other. It's a "work hard, play hard" environment, but with a heavy emphasis on service. I completed my MBA at Villanova, which is consistently top-ranked. The curriculum is challenging, and the professors especially in the Finance and Nursing programs are well-connected. Let's be honest: Basketball season is a religious experience here. Standing in the student section at the Finneran Pavilion or heading into Philly for a big game at the Wells Fargo Center is an unmatched vibe. \\// up!

Bryn Mawr is an inimitable place. Any top-tier college may have comparable academics, but nowhere where you find such a thriving community of passionate, inspired, intelligent individuals. Not only did I have the incredible opportunity to be taught by Macarthur "Genius Grant" winners in every class (not TAs!), they'd talk to me like an equal afterward. I have to admit that I found the students to be even more inspiring. Someone was always doing groundbreaking and fascinating research, but there was always enough time to explain it in a relaxed way over chocolate chip pancakes. And if that weren't enough, the traditions really did bring the entire campus together, in ways a Yelp review can't do justice to. All the upperclasswomen were astoundingly knowledgeable and supportive, and the friends I made at Bryn Mawr are friends for life. Without question, going to Bryn Mawr was the best possible decision I could have made for myself as a young woman.

All the classrooms have up to date technology and just give you the overall feel that everything is new. When you first walk into the Lasalle portion of the building there is a huge snack table too. I've never seen so many snacks. They work on the honor system for purchasing them so bring cash if you are hungry and be honest! The classrooms even have Skype if you are unable to make it to class and want to see and here it . The University also offers a text message service to your phone in case of any cancellations of classes. I graduated six years ago already and I have to admit this place is pretty nice for it's small size. My one negative is there is only a womens bathroom in the Lasalle portion of the building. The guys have to walk completley out and across the hall. It's not a big deal really just weird actually. If you see some classes here I would highly suggest signing up for them. It's easy to get to and there are plenty of great places to eat at right around the area. Enjoy!
