This is a truly terrible restaurant, and I am struggling to find a redeeming feature. The service was okay, and I could park but that's about it. We were looking for a Chinese restaurant open on a Sunday lunch time as our preferred Chinese restaurant is shut until the evening, so after some internet research we settled on this restaurant. The location is not inspiring but I hoped we'd find a hidden gem, but no. It all started well with warm prawn crackers on the table, and a surprisingly quiet restaurant, considering the website lists a (all you can eat but cooked to order) special Sunday menu with a special offer for children but no that doesn't exist when you get there and the two set menus available were underwhelming and poor value but we went ahead and ordered a meal for two with a few extras for children. Wonton soup was hot water with some veg and dumplings; the prawns tasteless; the sweet and sour pork tough and small; and the mixed veg watery and overcooked. Although the duck was okay, the food quality peaked with the prawn crackers. Never, ever visit this restaurant. I am glad however to have visited this restaurant if only to see how relatively good some very ordinary restaurants can be. read more
