If you've never had a gyro before, this place is a good start to set the bar at. P.S. don't forget to order extra tzatziki. Soo good!

The tuxedo bomb was definitely my favorite part! Being the adult that I am, I had dessert first. I hadn't planned to eat the whole thing before dinner since it was on an empty stomach. Unfortunately I did because it was so good! I ended up feeling a bit queasy afterwards, which was totally my fault. Sweets on an empty stomach always does that to me, but it was worth it and I'd do it again after eating my meal I felt fine. I almost got another tuxedo bomb togo but despite it being my cheat day, I didn't want to complete kill my diet so I refrained. I will definitely be back for another one though! Food aside, the waitresses there are both super nice and the place has a very nice ambiance.

First, we didn't start off good when they were asking me stupid questions when I needed a chair as I've had stuff to carry, when I asked that one waitress no ranch, she sadly made the mistake of having garlic alioi to which sauce ruins my meal, although the calamari was amazing. The ribeye steak, amazing, although I should have told them no butter on my steak and the fries are good. And The dessert was delicious. At the end I admitted to the manager that it was my fault for taking this too seriously and let her staff sit me where they want me to sit next time. But it could have been better if they didn't annoyed me at first. But I might come back to ensure no mistakes are made, cause I want them to improve.

New Paradise has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Wichita for a while now. While not perfect,…read morethey're pretty consistent and I've never had a bad meal. I'm told their biryani is excellent, but I adore their tikka and always recommend new diners try the veggie or meat curry combos that are toward the back of the menu. While the combos are more expensive and generously portioned almost to a fault, it's the best way to try several entrees at once. Be prepared to wait a bit for it on busier nights, but it's worth it! Ambience is clean but kind of what you'd expect for an older strip-mall Indian place. You go to New Paradise to eat a lot of good food and everything else is secondary. There's a large table for 8 in the corner by the big tv, booths along one wall and 2-4 person tables in the center. The big tv is usually on, blasting Bollywood music videos, but they turn it down if you ask. I also hear good things about their weekend buffet, but I haven't made it in yet. It's on my to-do list! This restaurant is about as far away from my Westside home as you can get, but I'll always jump at the chance to go to the east side to visit New Paradise Biryani Pointe. If you know anything about Wichita and how much Westsiders hate going east, this is pretty big praise! Definitely recommend.

I drove about 20 minutes to pick up this food, and by the time I got home, I was very disappointed because I could not properly eat the meal. When I contacted the restaurant, the response was not helpful. I was told that next time I come in, I could get extra complimentary rice. That does not really fix the issue because I was hungry at that moment and had already paid for the meal. If I had been told that rice was unavailable or not included, I would have ordered extra naan instead. I understand mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled was disappointing. I hope the restaurant improves both the food quality and customer service response in situations like this.
