I shopped here for the first time on Wed. 5-6-2026; I had a great experience at this store! It…read moreappears to be a bigger store than the other Costcos I go to (Schaumburg and Lake Zurich), plus, it was hardly crowded the night I went (7:45 pm). Large, good quality selection here too--I found everything I needed! Everything was at a good low price vs what I'd spend at Mariano's or Target! I also was glad that there was no wait for me to gas up my huge old Lexus SUV here either--although I was shocked about the smaller size of the gas station here! Anyway, I would definitely come back to this location: it's huge, clean, has great product location, is in Lake County (so no higher Crook County taxes to pay), and is less crowded (compared to Schaumburg, whose aisles are almost always clogged with half of Asia and Eastern Europe rudely yapping away on their phones and blocking people's way)!

I'm disappointed by the level of customer service I experienced at Costco on Friday, May 15. She threw my items onto the belt, never greeted me, and did not acknowledge me once during the transaction. It was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at Costco. I also spoke with a manager, but nothing was done beyond listening to my complaint. As a long-time customer, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I also have a Sam's Club membership, and experiences like this make me seriously consider canceling my Costco membership. Costco, please do better when it comes to customer service and how members are treated.

So are you ready for my recap of our bourbon-rye-scotch whiskey tasting--I'll give it a shot!…read more Three tiers within each category (low, middle and HIGH)--within each category--that's some whiskey business. We had guests dropping by--so the house was neat. Once our friends were there--it was full of spirits. They had to score all the whiskeys, identify if it was bourbon, rye or scotch, and whether the bottle was a premium brand or top shelf--and this put everyone in a dram good mood. It was a barrel of laughs, I could barley get in a word edgewise. But that's ok, I had to grain and bear it. Some spirited arguments broke out over which was the highest priced bottle -- but fortunately no friendships were on the rocks over it. Did everyone enjoy the event? Here's proof -- they're asking us to repeat this. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot We got everything we needed for our soirée at Binny's, from the Filthy cherries to the mixers to the fine liquor to the mixologist implements.

We wanted a hard-to-find lychee malt beverage from San Miguel brewery, but unfortunately didn't find it. But the visit wasn't a total loss. In celebration of Cinco de mayo, most tequila's were on sale so decided to pick up a bottle for our hosts before visiting their home. Teremana Tequila Blanco is a well rated brand, founded by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The store was well organized, though it was difficult to find all the tequila brands since they didn't seem to be in any particular order. You know they have a big selection when you wish the choices were organized like in a library. Checkout was easy, with plenty of cashiers ready to help on this non-busy day.

The only place I will go for advice, cleaning, or purchasing of jewelry. My family has been going…read morehere for years. Jon is an expert who you can trust to give you the best advice as well as fair advice. I recently asked him to replace a diamond on my wedding band, and he told me all he needed to do was rotate the diamond. He could have easily told me it needed replacement, which would have cost me way more, and I would have had no idea. He is honest and dang good at his job.

I began researching jewelers in the area to resize my engagement ring and found TDC on Yelp. When I called, the first thing Jon did was talk me through the process of resizing a ring based on the metal type and style. He was very informative and kind. I called a couple of other places and immediately knew Jon was the go-to person. I took my ring in a few days later. The building did through me off (it's a big office building, when I expected a stand-alone store. Just FYI incase you think you're in the wrong place.) Inside of the store had a great atmosphere and Jon again was super helpful! The ring was ready in 4 days and when we picked it up, he also helped us look through some wedding band ideas for my fiancé. We may go back to get his band from TDC. If not, we know we have a jeweler we can trust for future needs. Thanks for a great experience, Jon!

I am one of those people who wear a watch every day. About four years ago, I had my watch battery…read morereplaced at Batteries Plus for the first time. Two years later, I went back for another replacement, since watch batteries typically last around two years. That time, the associate suggested I opt for their "KITWATCHLIFE" service, a lifetime battery replacement for that specific watch, for $21.99 plus tax. It was only about $9 more than a standard battery replacement, so I figured that if I used it just one more time, I would come out ahead. I was told all I would need to do in the future was provide my phone number. I saved my receipt, just in case. Fast forward to today, I returned for another battery replacement. The store was empty except for one associate, Samantha. At first, she seemed hesitant, not because she didn't want to honor the lifetime service, but because she was concerned about damaging an expensive watch. She mentioned that if the watch was worth more than $150, they might instead offer to refund the lifetime service fee or transfer it to a different watch. I told her the battery had already been replaced twice there without issue. She decided to proceed and, to my surprise, replaced the battery in just a few minutes, much faster than previous visits. In the end, I definitely got my money's worth. If you have a watch that isn't particularly expensive, I think this is a good program to consider at Batteries Plus. Just be aware that some staff might be cautious if your watch is on the pricier side.

I broke my phone and the screen was cracked and they fixed it in 1hr 30 mins. Come here if you want…read morequality repairs in small timepieces.
