The project of 30 piers was carried out with minimal disruption to us. They are an extremely organized team who worked with care and concern for the property finishing a projected 3 day effort in just 2 full days. At first I gave them a 1 because after 3 weeks not hearing a word from them after estimate, they contacted me and scheduled work, I will give them a 5 in their cement work, however when they were backing up to start work they damaged some of my front lawn and no attempt was made to fix, so all in all I will give them a 4, since any damage incurred is part of their work. AMAZING customer service & high quality of work! Jeff Barter from East Texas Slab Masters (ETSM) came in to repair foundation issues on our house. Jeff took his time to discuss options with us, & outline steps to resolve the root issues to prevent more water coming into the house. He was able to quickly get us scheduled to complete the work, showed up on time with a professional crew who cleaned up the site every day, & was always proactive with his communication. Each day Jeff came out to the site to inspect the work quality. After the job was completed, Jeff followed-up after a recent rainstorm to ensure there were no residual issues & addressed concerns. Prompt attention. Good service. I called for an estimate the guy showed up the next day. Charge me $5000 to do 50% of the house. I called Olshan who gave me an appointment (closest available) 40 days out out and charge $20,000 and the greaseball salesman wanted to do the entire house {90%}. He canceled on me the day of the appointment with very little notice, he rescheduled the next day for 3 PM and tells me at 12 PM he's on his way And will be there At 1. House did not need all the additional work he was trying to sell me. It was a scam. They told me that I would have to get my own brick guy to come and fix the crack. Complete bullshit. After some testy back-and-forth he told me that he could do just the problem area for $6500 (20% of the house) and told me there was no way that he could match come close to match the price. I have been told that when you ask them for financing they will tell you to put your house up for collateral and try and foreclose on it illegally (look up Texas homestead laws, A vendor cannot foreclose on your house) The service I received from slab masters was exactly how I expected a contractor to conduct business. They fixed the brick that was cracked and I could not tell where the repair was even as I watched it occur. The slab had been cracked for years and I was dreading getting the fix. They showed up on schedule as promised and under budget. I will use them again in the future. Took less than five hours for them to complete the job. Bonded and insured. read more
