I got the pricing over the phone and decided I wanted to do 60 min. Once I get in the room, she convinced me to do 90 min. It was $90. So the owner comes in and starts my massage. It was felt therapeutic since I asked for hard. 5 minutes in she asked me where I worked. I told her where I worked and she told me to bring friends & I'll get a discount. She continued to ask me about my benefits at work & I felt very uncomfortable answering. It also defeats the purpose of getting a massage. About 15 min in the phone starts ringing and she stepped out without saying excuse me. She comes back and tells me she has a group coming in soon and that she needs to get the rooms ready. Well, after that, she leaves and different masseuse comes in. This person is a sweet lady and does her job very well. I had her for about 30 minutes without interruptions and the massage was great. After 30 min the group shows up and owner comes in and switches back with the masseuse. I told her I liked her and would prefer her instead. The owner said that I'd had to come back next time to schedule a massage with her. Are you kidding me?!? I quietly lay there uncomfortably as she's massaging me. The whole time I could hear her labored breathing since she was running all over the place trying to get the other group situated. I told her that she didn't even massage my legs so she said fine and added an extra 10 minutes to the massage. After the time was up I show up to the register to pay. The owner gave me a full water bottle and gave me about 20 business cards and says to give it to all my coworkers. I give this place 2 stars because the lady gave me a water bottle and when I was getting a massage, it was good. They had horrible bedside manner and the way she ran her business was very unorganized. She meant well, but her meaning well did not make up for the interruptions and questions about my job.

Forgot about gift certificates, let boyfriend have them, boyfriend doesn't like massages = SCORE!! (: The rest is basically history. They've been incredible and so easy to work with that I keep going back. There was a time I couldn't find my certificate and they were cool with it. They are all automated now that you can make appointments online. New location is in an office building but pretty easy to find. They offer amazing deals to keep you coming back! Less than half the time I go it's great. Like, 30% of the time. The other 70% it's strange or ridiculous. They have frequent customer cards which I have never been able to redeem. Whatever is explained to me, with pointing to the card, I do not understand. The employees will carry on conversations out loud rather than respecting the 'relax' part of the business name. You can clearly hear everything from the mall. When I once did get a table massage the 'therapist' left the door open. I could hear the sounds from the mall and there was no music. It was horrible. My last visit I asked for a 20 minute chair massage and 30 minute foot reflexology. Halfway through the chair massage they changed therapists. The next one's only technique was to crush muscle with his elbow. I asked if he would do the other side of my back- which hadn't been worked on, and ended up getting charged an extra ten minutes for that. Foot reflexology normally consisted of foot massage and then pointed pressure on each reflexology point. What I got was my feet slapped and then scraped, which hurt on the arch of my foot, with a stone. The worst part was that the therapist did not follow draping techniques as taught by the Texas Health Department's Massage guidelines. I was wearing a shirt. At the end of the session my therapist bent one of my knees and pressed it across my other leg (in yoga this is a stretching twist). He allowed my butt to be exposed and didn't bother to move the blanket/towel to cover my backside. At all. At the end of the session he pulled the towel by the corner as he walked away, exposing me since my skirt was up to my crotch- thanks to the stretching. I felt like they'd made me into a joke. They DO NOT practice massage therapy techniques approved or taught by most licensed massage therapy teachers.
