My husband and I stayed at the b&b for 4 weekday nights. Prior to arrival, I found communication with Will and Jan via telephone and email to be friendly and helpful so had good expectations for our break. On arrival, the location is beautiful; secluded and quiet but within easy reach of lots of local attractions, and the house itself is beautifully rustic with wooden beams, fabulous fireplaces etc, and very nicely decorated cosy rooms. Will was on hand throughout our stay, always offering excellent suggestions for places to eat and nice places to visit/ recommended routes to take. The room was equiped with tea and coffee making facilities (fresh milk bought to your room daily), t.v and dvd player, access to wi-fi, making this a real home from home. Towels refreshed daily, cups etc cleaned too, a truly pampered stay. Breakfast was excellent. Cereals, yoghurts, fruit, tea/coffee, fruit juice, toast, and a lovely fresh full english, ensured you were well set for a day of sight seeing ahead! This was by far the most enjoyable stay in a b&b I've ever had, and is really great value for money. read more
