I asked for a doctor's note to excuse me from work for the next two days while I recover from my back injury. I was told the doctor was at lunch and assured that the note would be emailed to me. Three hours later, I still hadn't received anything, so I called to follow up. Again, I was told it would be sent shortly. Ironically, about a minute after that call, I received an email -- but it wasn't my doctor's note. It was a survey asking me to rate my experience. That pretty much summed up my experience. The lack of professionalism, communication, and follow-through from the front desk was extremely disappointing. When someone is injured and relying on your office for documentation needed for work, they shouldn't have to repeatedly chase it down. The doctor himself was great, which is unfortunate because the front desk experience is the reason I rated my visit a 1. At this point, I'm not even sure I'll return for my follow-up appointment and may choose to continue my care somewhere else.

We visited countless health care…read moreprofessionals, tried multiple treatments, and even went through rounds of prescription medications--all with no meaningful results. When we were referred to Dr. Ray, we were skeptical, especially since his office is an hour's drive each way. But desperation and hope pushed us to make the trip, and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Ray approached my wife's case with the kind of care and thoroughness we hadn't encountered before. After her initial tests and x-rays, he asked us to return later the same day--he wanted time to truly assess the complexity of her condition before proposing a treatment plan. That level of attention instantly won us over. He laid out a 25-week plan, medication-free, and spoke with confidence and compassion that gave us hope. We're now 17 weeks in, and the transformation is incredible. Her back pain is nearly gone, and the vertigo that once ruled her life is almost non-existent. With just 8 weeks to go, my wife is getting her life back--something we never thought possible. Thank you, Dr. Ray and your wonderful team, for stepping in where others couldn't. Your dedication and expertise have made all the difference in our lives.

He couldn't walk on his front paw ( his Nemo leg we called it ) Three days after Dr. Jacquie saw him there was improvement. And he's lost some weight. From a whole new diet. He's also off his allergy medication that he's been on for years. Thank you so much Dr. Jacquie I can't thank you enough. I thought I was going to loose him and I was devastated to say the least. He's the happiest little guy you will ever meet and his goofy personality and will to live showed up a couple days after you saw him. I hope I have followed your instructions. She charged me $50 for less than 10 minutes on the first day I brought my dog in. The second day, I literally spent 3 min in the room with her, also $50. The worst part is we heard a horrendous popping noise when she muzzled my dog and pulled her neck on the first day. She claimed that it popped the neck back into its proper place. My dog now breathes very heavily and seems uncomfortable even while sleeping as a result. I had to take her to CARE rehab in West LA where they determined there was a neck injury of some sort. Now we go to Dr. Palmer who practices a gentler method. However, my dog is still injured and it's heartbreaking that this happened. Just wanted to share my experience.

Along with the reflux causing malabsorption/vitamin deficiencies, I also had (notice the beautiful word HAD) horrible breathing reactions that was caused by the acid getting into my lungs. Well, that all changed last Saturday when I visited Dr. Lyon! He was honestly one of the last resorts I had before possibly considering getting the dangerous surgery to correct it. He performed a Hiatal Hernia adjustment on me and got my stomach down to where it was supposed to be! I noticed a huge difference almost immediately leaving the office! Just like that my whole life was changed! I went from needing 4 Pepcid's and Prilosec to NONE! It has been just over a week now and I am still doing FANTASTIC! If you are pretty sure you have a Hiatal Hernia or have similar symptoms like I mentioned DO NOT HESITATE for a second in running to Christain Family Chiropractic immediately! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Dr. Wellhausen saved me, not an over exaggeration. In the first month of seeing her she helped me…read moremore than traditional western medicine did. Doctos prescribed anti depressants that caused me to become ill, caused panic attacks (which I had never experienced before). I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, in addition to depression, anxiety, increased liver enzymes, pre diabetes and high blood pressure. The medications prescribed by my primary care doctor caused me to feel more ill , affected my ability to work and function. Dr Wellhausen took the time to listen, helped me understand what was going in my body and mind. I was off the medication within a month and able to function. All my numbers went to normal in 6 months. What I appreciate about her work is the whole person approach. She reviews blood work and made recommendations for supplements based on my numbers. In 2 weeks I was off antidepressants. Yes, its not cheap but worth it.

I 100% regret going to this facility and spending $380 on an appointment where I felt scrutinized,…read moretalked down to, and ultimately left feeling like I had not been helped. I came into this appointment extremely vulnerable and genuinely open-minded. I brought approximately 14 pages of detailed information about my health history and everything I have been experiencing because I have spent the past several years trying to find answers. I have worked incredibly hard to advocate for myself and have tried many different approaches because traditional medicine has not been able to explain why I continue to feel the way I do. I was hoping that approaching my health from a different perspective would finally give me some direction. Instead, I left feeling completely misunderstood and unheard and in tears. At one point, after I apologized for being "such a case," the provider said, and I quote, "I wish I could put you in Palestine." I was already overwhelmed and emotional during the appointment, and that comment was extremely upsetting and inappropriate to me. Later, she apologized for being "crude" or "direct" and attributed it to being French. Regardless of how someone describes their communication style, I believe healthcare professionals have a responsibility to communicate with compassion, especially when someone is sitting in front of them in a vulnerable state asking for help and paying a lot of money for said help. I cried throughout much of the appointment and left with extremely puffy, red eyes. I have never felt so uncomfortable and emotionally overwhelmed during a healthcare appointment. I also left without any real answers. There were guesses about what might be contributing to my symptoms and a discussion about potential lab work, but I did not feel like I received a clear explanation or meaningful plan for moving forward. I was then encouraged to purchase additional supplements, including products branded through the practice, which added even more expense to an already very disappointing experience. What bothers me most is that I was genuinely excited to explore a different approach to my health. I went into this appointment believing that a holistic provider might finally offer a perspective that I had not received elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience left me questioning whether I even want to pursue holistic medicine again, which is incredibly disappointing because I know people who have had wonderful experiences with this type of care. I understand that healthcare providers can be direct, and I understand that not every provider is going to be the right fit for every patient. But there is a difference between being direct and making a patient who has come to you for help feel small, judged, or unheard. I will not be returning to this facility, and based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering an appointment to carefully research their options and make sure they feel confident that the provider they choose will approach their concerns with empathy and respect. No patient should leave a healthcare appointment feeling the way I did when I walked out of this one.
