During my appointment, we were able to narrow down which tooth it was bothering me. But, after an x-ray and dealing with me for about a whole five minutes at best, the dentist could not tell me what was wrong. He basically just said I would have to suck it up and come back in if it gets worse. WORSE? My eye is twitching and I have a constant headache that keeps me from sleeping but sure, let's let it get worse. I really feel like my pain was being discredited. So, I gave the dentist brand the benefit of the doubt and went to get a second opinion over at the sun prairie clinic. Imagine my surprise when the dentist there figures out my problem in two minutes by looking at my x-ray and saying my filling is off which is causing my pain. My other dentist did not even tell me the tooth that was causing me had a filling. One would think that it would be extremely relevant to know that the tooth causing me pain had had work done on it before!

I had implants put in. Immediately after surgery I had an abscess that was mistaken for normal…read moreswelling. Implants all failed 1 at a time because they were improperly put in. I had more surgery and replaced them, but again there was no interconnection of the implants. and 1 by 1 they failed again. Now I have a shard of metal from a failed implant starting to protrude through my gum. Dental Health Associates wants me to pay all over again, but I am now retired and cannot pay thousands of dollars. I have no legal recourse because the statute of limitations (3 years) has passed since the first surgery. Medicare doesn't cover dental, and I cant even afford to pay the 175 dollars for a consultation for a repair. I am in pain constantly, and my only option is to wait for the metal to work its way out of my jaw and hope I don't get an infection. I cannot eat or speak properly, and I have no idea what is going to happen.

When I arrived was warmly greeted and filled out a couple of questions on a laptop by the front desk. I only had to wait a couple minutes before I was taken to the back to see Dr. Angie. She was kind, gentle, and explained everything she was checking for and addressed any questions I had. She definitely took it any stress I had about coming in. Afterwards I saw my hygienist and left with a nice little welcome gift. What I really liked was how kind everyone was and how they explained everything to you. Plus each hygienist has their own little "cubby" with a window and bird feeder. *it's the little things*. They also provide you with plastic safety glasses and my hygienist even had tinted ones! Once the dental assistant brought me back I asked if my boyfriend can come with me and she said no. I went in, X-rays were fine but when the dentist came I told him my concern if there was something wrong with my tooth in the inside because I see something and unsure if it was a cavity on my gum line area. He didn't even check that area at all and cared about the other cavities. It's fine but if u ignore my concern then I don't really know if u are paying attention to your patients concerns first. Once I finished, I was not even consulted for how much it would cost, they just gave me a piece of paper and scheduled me and that was it. I scheduled my appointment on the 26th of this month in Feb. I needed to cancel my appointment or reschedule due to family, I called them and the person said no you cannot cancel you HAVE TO COME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. I was like so I cannot even cancel or reschedule it at all? He said no because the doctor takes the limited exams and has other patients. I was confused and angry so I hung up without even saying that I was confirming my appointment. 2 MINUTES LATER THEY CONFIRMED MY APPOINTMENT AFTER THE CALL. I was confused why they confirmed my appointment if I wanted to cancel and reschedule my appointment and if I didn't even confirm it with them over the phone. They even said through next if I cannot make it I can let them know in advance my calling them. Even though it was a day before my appointment I could've at least have the option to reschedule on my end? Just felt like they want money.

Not only did Dr. Sifri fix my teeth, but years and years later they are still in great condition. This place is amazing for kids. My kids are actually excited to go to the dentist, which is saying…read moresomething. The staff are super friendly, and they go out of their way to make the kids feel safe and comfortable. The prize tokens after seeing the dentist are a hit for my kids. We never have to wait more than a few minutes after arriving for our appointments, which is funny because with the movie theaters my kids actually like waiting in the waiting room.
