Okay as far as getting the job done but WAY too bossy and fanatical for my taste. Ever been to see a professional who is so obsessed with their own field that they kind of forget how reality works for normal people? You know, like the dentist who thinks you're going to brush and floss after every single meal plus every time you have a Starbucks? That was my experience here, just with the other end. I didn't ask to be put on a diet, but she immediately starts talking about how she's going to put me on keto. Excuse me, if I wanted to be on keto, I would be on keto, and that's not why I am here. Also, you're NOT a licensed dietician. Stay in your lane! I was just a bit plugged up, wanted some relief, but she wanted me to make my gut and butt into a lifestyle. She ordered me about what equipment to buy at home, what we're going to do "next time" and sister, I had already made up my mind that there would be no next time. Maybe she was just having an off day but her intensity was at about a 9 when I just wanted someone at about a 3. She talked my ear off the whole time I was there and 90% of it was her trying to tell me what to do. That is 100% not my style and I did not come here to join The Church of the Holy Poop. So it could have been worse, but there are plenty of other choices in the area and this is not the right one for me. read more

First let me say, Yelp did not disappoint. The 5 stars that Anna has are well deserved! I've had colonics with a different clinic prior and those experiences don't even come close to this one! Having a colonic is not a very fun procedure but Anna made me very comfortable and the procedure overall was less taxing on my body. I usually leave a colonic and feel like I have the stomach flu and I am down for at least the day. I left and actually feel hungry! I planned on having a down day and what a pleasant surprise that I will be able to be productive today. I will be back no doubt! read more

I was a semi regular over at Pam's body basic before they closed they're doors for good. I was nervous about finding a replacement. East county did not disappoint. It was a very nice shop and my hydrotherapist was very kind and professional. This will be my new spot whenever I'm in San Diego. read more

This was the first time I took the plunge and went for colon hydrotherapy. I have thought about it for years and felt it would be a great complement to my detox I do twice a year. But I was spooked because I didn't know how it worked, how it felt, if I'd be embarrassed, all that stuff. Anna is great! Anna had a huge warm smile for me when I got to the office. Actually before that we texted a couple times and she answered some questions so I felt good going in. Anyways, I filled in paperwork which was good then went back and got changed. Anna is way cool! Very professional and respectful. And at the same time fun and probably a blast to hang out with. She explained how it would all work and how I could see what was happening and getting cleaned. I liked that. She also gave me great advice on diet and how that affects the digestive tract. So I feel that I can now eat better, chew my food longer and keep my self in better shape between sessions. I felt much better after the session and the discomfort during was very mild, almost none really. I am excited to go back and make this a regular part of my detox routine! read more

Absolutely amazing experience. Although it's normal to be a bit embarrassed or uncomfortable, Anna makes it SO normal & comfortable! Been coming here for 12 years & am thankful for feeling the relief our bodies naturally need. read more

Anna is great and energetic made my first experience so comfortable! I feel so much better and less bloated would definitely recommend! read more

My first colonic and first visit with Anna was THE BEST! I was prepared for a semi-assisted procedure (as described on many other websites) and she was NOT into leaving one (me) to handle such a delicate matter alone. She was thorough in explaining the process, gentle and professional in approach and allowed time during the process for me to decide if I wanted to "get-up and go" on my own. Which, because of her professional assistance I was able to "go" on my own. The topper to this experience... No Mess from "the bottom". A clean process from inside and out! If you are having difficulties or discomforts, worth the try, time, cost and scheduling! read more

Today was my first experience in a colon therapy, I had a bit of nerves but before starting my section Anna very kindly welcomed me made me feel comfortable started the section and I felt more relaxed that my 40 min were very fast ella I am very kind, I congratulate her for her patience and that she be very professional in what she does. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Anna. She talked me through the process and made me feel at ease about being a first-timer. I was so nervous at first, but midway through, I felt comfortable, and talking about nutrition with Anna to help me continue my reset journey. I'd come back again definitely! read more

I have been going to Anna a couple times each year for several years now. After I left my appointment yesterday my 8 year old said, "wow, she is so cheerful". She always has a smile on her face and from the moment I met her I felt like I've known her for years. That's important considering the business she is in. I've never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable. Ever. After I leave I feel like I am walking on air. Not only is my colon clear but my head too! When we talk it's like she is my cheerleader and my therapist. When I told her I didn't have to even interview for my new job, that my boss just vouches for me, she was more excited for me than anyone I told! She's the best! read more

She is so sweet and helpful!!!! I love the visit with my husband, she encouraged him to a better diet and he is doing very well

Anna is AMAZING!! After watching a documentary on a guy doing a water fast and seeing him get a colonic, I decided to look into getting one myself. I'd honestly never thought about having one but after some serious health issues this last year and a half, I thought that maybe I could benefit from the service. Booking the appointment was simple and quick, which is awesome because there is nothing worse than going to someone's website all ready to spend your money with then and their site ends up being too confusing to navigate. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt at ease. Anna greeted me with a smile on her face and told me that she was finishing up her previous client which I thought was nice because she could have easily just left me sitting and waiting until she was ready to take me back. As for the procedure itself, it was painless - which I didn't expect. Anna and I chatted like old friends...which might technically be odd considering what was going on at the time lol, but that just goes to show you how amazing she is at what she does. She makes you feel extremely comfortable and at ease, which is definitely a skill. Leaving the office I felt so much lighter than I did going in. I'm excited to book my next appointment with Anna - and if you're considering it, DO IT! You will not regret it for a second. Thank you Anna! :) read more

Anna is amazing, 100 stars if I could! This is a long overdue review, been coming to East County Colon Therapy since 2013. First, the business is absolutely spotless. Anna takes great care to ensure the equipment, facilities and client area is 150% sanitized and super clean. Anna is a true healer. She is absolutely one of the most kind, caring, nurturing people you will ever come across. She is extremely knowledgeable in areas of parasite cleansing, colitis, IBS, GI issues, overall detox support. I worked with her in conjunction with my naturopath and she has supported me through over a decade of healing. Her concern and care for her clients is second to none, she is a true earth angel who has her clients care, health, and well being as her top priority. Scheduling is super easy via her online website and she is hands down one of the most experienced and best colon hydro therapists in all of San Diego. The coffee colonic and 10 visit bundles are the best! Highly recommend East County Colon Therapy!!! read more

Today was my first day trying Colon therapy.Specifically, the Hydro therapy session. I recommend taking the hydrotherapy it was very helpful to my digestive system. Anna was very knowledgeable about the digestive system, hydrotherapy, and on other nutritional alternatives. The only regret is I wish I had signed up for multiple sessions instead of the one session. read more

I get it, it's a little different talking about cleansing the colon, however I know how important it is for health and feeling better. I went in and met with Loreta, the owner and founder of this buisness, She was amazing!! A+A+A+ services, she was patient with all my questions and made me feel real comfortable. I highly recommend for those who are new (especially) and any others who have some knowledge about the expiernece Thanks Loretta, I will be back! read more

First time getting colon therapy. My boyfriend and I had such a great experience. We eat mostly clean on a daily basis. We don't have any issues with our bowel movements. We chose to have this done just to cleanse ourselves and lose a few pounds of waste. To prep for this session we just came in as normal. Didn't manipulate our diet in any way to prepare which was suggested by Anna. She said she wants a client to come in as is so that if there are any problems she could see what's going on. The sessions took about 1hr from start to finish. (Signing papers, changing, explanation, and actual session). I learned that there are different kinds of colon therapy. Anna has the machine where she manually fills and empties water. So she is with you the entire session. This wasn't awkward at all! She is very kind to talk to. Answered all of our questions. **If you're a couple she allowed us to be together why one was doing the session** We both had a great colon therapy session! We both would do it again! Post colon therapy we felt normal. No accidents or like water coming out. Haha! I felt lighter and my tummy felt smaller. Tip for females: Avoid going when you're about to start red ribbon week. The early sensitivity made it a little uncomfortable. read more

I have been getting colonics for over 7 years and I have never been more pleased than with Anna. She uses a different technique than other therapist, and it is wayyy better. Her prices are the best around also. She is now my new go to girl when I wanna feel nice and skinny. read more

So, you have lots of different ways to invest in your health. You can spend money on: - eating healthy - supplements - gym membership - health insurance - chiropractic coverage - acupuncture - etc. All of that doesn't matter and you won't get results unless your digestion and elimination systems are healthy. I recommend colonics for that. 2015 was the year I started getting colonics and Anna was the first professional I went to. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else. Let's face it, you need to feel comfortable around someone who is helping you through this process. Anna is awesome and so personable. I highly recommend at least trying one colonic and see how you feel afterward. You will feel fantastic. Lighter on your feet and cloudless in your head, to say the least. read more

Anna is very gentle, professional, and let me just say....HILARIOUS! Face it, you need a little sensor of humor to either A) get this darn service, after all...you are blowing a fuse in your rectum B) be the one helping the client blow a fuse in their A$$. She provides excellent customer service, answering any questions you may have on the procedure. I was a little skeptical about the area and having minimal reviews, us YELPERS tend to steer away, but don't think twice. Give her a call and schedule your appointment NOW! Best price in town...beautiful little office. read more

Anna was super nice and informative on both how the cleansing was going to go down (or out, lol...) and what steps i could take to better improve my colon's health. :) Oh, and effective. If you want stuff out, this is the place to go. read more

I had the worst health in 2015 due to losing a friend and going through depression, smoking more packs a day, and having high blood pressure due to my poor eating habits. I knew that going to the doctor in general would probably scare me straight and quitting cold turkey would help a ton. In addition, as I read through a Detox book during my own research,I found out about colonics and did a little bit more digging about it. I thought I'd give it a shot and figured it couldn't do too much damage to what I've already done over the past year. As it goes, I had a colonic done at a wellness center in Hillcrest and though decent for a first time, I went in for a second run and it turned out that no one was there at all. Let's just say their communicational level is very unprofessional and they blamed me for their website being crummy. What?! Now, I don't want just anyone going around my parts so I definitely took my money back and looked around for something better. Here's where Anna exceeded my expectations- not only did she have the best smile and energy at 6am, she was so hilarious with the whole process that I felt like I've known her forever. Mind you, this isn't the most comfortable thing to be a part of, but Anna is so personable, very professional, and amazing that I don't even think I've encountered someone so passionate as her. She knows what she's doing, she cares, and she is friendly! Who is this woman?!?!! I've never felt so much better in years, and I know she sincerely looks out for her clients. I immediately booked 3 sessions with her, and I know I will be a devoted client of hers. Anna, if you ever read this, you are an amazing person! You are an asset (hah!) and such an outstanding professional. I wish there were more people out there like you who truly care for their client's well being! read more

I have been dealing with digestive issues for 2 months now and after just one session I already felt so much relief I teared up! Yeah, a review for a service I'd never think I'd visit. However, when my wife was here on a recent vacation she confided she'd had chronic colon problems for many years. It must have been bad for her to agree to have a stranger perform such an intimate procedure. BUT, as others say, Anna makes all the difference in the world and can totally relate to clients' distress. Her office is very sufficient and equipped with excellent equipment for services offered. My wife had an impressive cleansing and would have returned again certainly if we hadn't waited to the end of her vacation to try this. Don't think twice if you need similar care; especially at the introductory special. read more
