She was assessed at Huntington and we learned that she was a grade level or more behind on certain subjects. We knew that she needed additional support to get up to speed prior to the start of 6th grade. Mona provided a clear action plan to address my child's needs. We were provided a set number of hours that was an estimation of the time needed for my child to catch up to her grade level. We would meet up with Mona every 4-6 weeks to see the progress our daughter was making. We will see the scores our daughter achieved on different subjects. We would also discuss the focus of the upcoming weeks. The improvement was gradual in the beginning. Once my daughter got used to the process and routine, we saw dramatic improvement in her grades. Even her attitude towards learning has greatly improved! Mona mentioned that confidence on the subject matter is what really contributes to the success of a student. During my initial meeting with Arlandis, the center director, I grilled him with lots of questions because I certainly did not want to invest time and money if I didn't think it was going to give me the results I was looking for. After having my kids enrolled in other learning centers in the past and even at a private school at one point (which had been a disappointment), I was almost looking for a reason not to enroll them in C2. However, Arlandis's professionalism, confidence and experience assured me that our high schooler son and middle schooler daughter were going to be in great hands. I ended up purchasing one of their top packages which gave us lots of hours and also allowed for college prep assistance. I figured it was a great deal compared to putting them in private school, but even better in the sense that we get more 1 on 1 help. We have been with Arlandis and his amazing team of tutors for almost 18 months and I absolutely see the benefits of C2 in their grades and in their confidence. They not only helped my kids with math, writing, chemistry, but they have also taught them how to learn and how to help themselves; skills that will last them a lifetime!
