East Bay Prep was worth the time, effort and money! My son took the SAT prep class and improved his score by 120. He will be attending Santa Clara University this fall. In my opinion, Easy Bay Prep is the best SAT Prep Class in the area. Their team is very organized and knowledgeable. With my son's rigorous class and sports schedule, East Bay Prep was very accommodating and flexible. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for some extra support and prep for SAT/ACT exams. THANK YOU East Bay Prep!

    Started Prep January 2019, Finished April 2019. Score:33 (English 35, Reading 34, Math 30, Science 34)

I do not know what I would have done without East Bay Prep. This is by far the Best Act Prep Class. On my first practice ACT, I had gotten a 26. Four months later, on my real ACT, my score had gone up to a 33, which was way better than I could have imagined. Going every other Sunday morning for four months was actually enjoyable because the team was so nice and approachable. They really helped me with questions that I did not understand and gave me test strategies that helped me tremendously on the actual ACT. I highly recommend using Test Preparation from East Bay Prep!!

My daughters attended East Bay Prep together, Maddalena in preparation for ACT, Ariel in preparation for SAT. Both found their teams patient, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. The proof came on test day, as Maddalena raised her score by seven points, and Ariel lifted hers by 140. We would recommend East Bay Prep to everyone planning to take the ACT, SAT or both. East Bay Prep is up to date on test trends, and is frankly the best business of its kind. If you want to maximize your test scores, contact East Bay Prep.

Can't say enough about this program, we just received the results of my child's December ACT test and her score went up 4 points from her first try to a score of 35. We are absolutely thrilled. The East Bay Prep approach really works! The students attend a prep class one day a week and then also take practice ACT tests every 3 weeks or so. The repetition and training the students receive from the East Bay Prep staff during the prep classes is targeted and individualized to your student, focusing on the problems they struggle to give them the tools needed to be successful. The other thing we really appreciated was the flexibility of the program, she could start her individualized program at a time that worked for us, we didn't have to wait for another session to start. If you are looking for a program that is individual and specialized, at a reasonable cost, in a flexible environment with true professionals, I'd highly recommend East Bay Prep.

I changed my score from a 25 to 34! Perfect score in English and Science!

Guess what, the Director of Lanies Learning and the school associated didn't really care about my kid learning Math. Even though it was a bit sketchy how they charged me more because I won a district settlement and charged me the "district rate" vs. the cheaper family rate, although both come with the same work involved. I questioned that at our final meeting. So here I come on the first day all the way from Piedmont to Concord, and I barely get a "hello" and no official introduction to anyone or condolences. I had to ask for a little sit down before my kid went the tutor. Then when I picked him up, I peaked at where she was having the tutoring of multi-sensory tutoring, and he was on the floor w/ many desks all around him, squished. When I brought this up to the Director in an email. She was so offended, she tore up my check she said and would give me that lesson for free. She apparently didn't like me questioning what I saw or what I expected from a "round up" after a first session. I was so excited too, but it seemed it was about conforming and not asking too many questions, than really helping my child. We since got a very amazing tutor who is amazing and trained in the exactly what he needed. I was saddened that the Director of this center and the Core Academy that it is associated with would treat a widow this way. So disappointed that they acted in such a way, after they accepted my kid, then said "he wasn't a good fit," after I had a few questions about the first session. Then to make matters worse, they let him go and tore up my check as they let me know in an email. How cruel. I really hope they don't respond, but it did happen and nothing they say, will make it ok. accept an apology.

In-Home consultation: I spoke with one of their Educational Consultants to go over my current situation and my expectations from the tutoring sessions. She was understanding, patient and matched me with tutors who are not only academically capable, but also fun and interesting to deal with. I love all my tutors! Calculus 2 tutoring: It's the most advanced math courses that I have ever taken in my life. However, I had the best experience in this class. The tutor, Daniel, was smart, organized and made things much, much easier than they appear. We always started our session with very simple problems, and he added more complicated problems one at a time. From my experience with this tutor, I learned that math can be easy if you understand the problems from the foundation. I received A+ in this class. Thank you! Statistics: Stephen was a funny guy; he created lots of activities for me during our sessions. We used coins, dices and cards for probabilities calculation. I learned a lot faster with these activities, and believe it or not, after taking this course with the tutor, I feel more confident going to casinos in Vegas. Lol... I received A in this class. Thank you! World History: English is my second language, so I had a hard time reading through the textbook, not to mention I have to retain all the information for the sake of HW and exams. Ashley always came with a summary sheet which included all the bullet points that we were going to go over in the session. She eliminated all the unnecessary information from text book and simplified them in just a few sentences for me. After I understood the main "stories", that's when she dug into more details with me, such as vocabularies that might appear on the exam that I would need to understand. My English improved tremendously after taking this course. I received B+ in this class, and I am super, super happy about it. Thank you! It was great working with all these awesome tutors and I would recommend Club Z to anyone I know!
