I wonder how many Visitors walk Downtown Estes Park without stopping @ Mountain Blown Glass? Every time I was within a block, I could see the place was packed. They were also gifted in their ability to clearly explain the process to onlookers, who quickly bought the pieces being created. A much more desirable souvenir than the mass-produced ones, IMO.

How do I know this place?" in my head like a mantra while using the Yelp app to see what was noteworthy around here. Since this is a small town, it wasn't hard to find the best of the best since it's all on Elkhorn. I love tourist traps with handmade wares. And funny t-shirts, and bad 80's music on the background! I don't own a belt but I felt like I was taking a peak into what life with Wolowitz would have been like. There's miles and miles of buckles, cowboy hats, country posters and t-shirts. I especially liked their knife collection and I do believe I saw a few Bowie knives make an appearance as well. I could stare at the many many collections for hours and think up ideas of what awesome trophies I'd make out of those massive belt buckles. If I had an especially burly man in my life, I'd definitely make a special trip to this place for all occasions.

She served me a delicious cup of Chai Tea in a Victorian cup & saucer. NICE! There was so much nice stuff to look at but I was just there to browse. I asked if she had anything for a 1 year-old little girl & she showed me an adorable little tea set. It was too cute so I bought it without hesitation. This nice place sells all kinds of things and then some. Handmade quilts, gifts galore, jewelry, fabric and much more. Unfortunately, I had very little time to browse since my bf was next door at the sport shop. But here's the kicker, besides enjoying a nice hot cup of tea, I mentioned that I was having a bad headache because I'm not use to the altitude. Wow, this sweet lady, Sherie, massaged my neck, offered me water an so on. she made me feel special & knows how to treat her customers. Since I was the only one in the store, may be why I got the royal treatment! I highly recommended this place if you're looking for that "Special Something".
