I appreciated that each basket of rocks had a placard to identify the type of rock as well as useful and interesting information. One fun thing they offer is allowing customers to crack open a geode if they purchase one (with staff assistance), which we did. Allowing customer participation is a great idea on their part and the "machine" they use is interesting to see.

The shop is absolutely darling and well curated for all ages. The store is laid out extremely well that you can see alot and navigate all of the gems inside with ease. Not overly cluttered with goods but a really impressive amount of items at the same time. The name is fitting and feels very feminine and girly. I love that they have a variety of dresses, pants, tops, accessories, jewelry you name it. The owner was so sweet and very helpful. Customer service was a 10/10. She helped set up a fitting room for me and even brought alternative items for me to look at and try on when one dress didn't work for me. A small Native American cross set with turquoise for $5, and 2 brass rings with semi-precious scarabs for $3 each. I highly recommend, we visit Bubbas Books every time we're in Idyllwild.
