The first impression is that the store has a lot of merchandise to the point of appearing cluttered, but upon closer inspection, the items are well maintained and placed in an orderly way. I was greeted warmly right away from the owner from behind the register. Mimi's is one of those stores that you can get lost in finding treasures or trinkets like book, boots, furs. The owner approached in a pleasing way to see if I needed assistance. All the items are clearly marked with a price tag and to my many seemed a bit overpriced, but all were in good condition with no odors, stains or rips. The furniture portion of the store is not nearly as crowded and is arranged in living area bunches. All the items are of very good to excellent quality. The lighting is good throughout the store and sales staff are not pushy. Jane made polite inquiries and asked if another customer would like to join the guestbook for future specials. The entire 30 minutes I spent in Mimi's was great, the music not too Ioud. I would highly recommend this store.x and it was clear Mimi has a lot of repeat customers as inventory is often changing. Besides the prices, I think Mimi is taking good care of customers, merchandising and signage.

We have bought many items from Clure. After this week, we will never step foot in this store,…read moreMy husband stopped by Clure's Friday, July 10, to look at headboards for our guest room. He was dressed in chore clothes (and a mask) which should not matter but it did. When he entered the store he was not so much approached as he was called to across the store. My husband said what we were looking for. She called out that the cheapest headboard was over $700. My husband just said $700? Her response was "You can always go to Walmart." A smart sales person would have at least made some effort for him to stay....maybe say "Let me look in our catalogues, or here is my card, have you shopped here before?" Some effort to keep the customer. instead she chose to be insulting and distant. Bye bye Clure Bros. Therw are many other places to buy furniture.

I wanted to get into skate skiing, but had no idea what to look for so I asked the older gentleman who worked there, Jay, if they had a pair that would be a good fit. Jay picked out these blue atomic RC9s and told me they were skate skis. Then he picked out a pair of boots, and poles. Ignorant at the time, I believed him and bought them. When I found out they were not skate skis and contacted the owner, Rob, about returning them, he explained that their no return/exchange policy did not require them to purchase them back from me. I have been scammed by NU2U and as a college student, their actions are financially felt.
