This place is straight trash. I had a last minute business trip come up so I called and asked if I dropped off my laundry, when will it be done. They said the next day, so I dropped off 3 bags. They told my husband that the items could only be picked up in 2-3 days. I called them back , then they said no problem we can do it for you by the next day. I received my laundry back and it smelled sooooo strong of cheap dryer sheets. It was alllll still filthy. They left stains and they said they don't do stain treatment. Understandable, but why are my clothes still BLACK? I mean I dropped my daughter's blanket at the park, the dirt from the ground was still on it. My daughter's clothes still had rice stuck on it like if you guys washed it, why would items be this filthy? My items were also HIGHLY damaged. They literally washed this in water (no soap) then put it in the dryer for a very long time. There were burn holes all over my leggings. My toddler's blanket was burnt to a crisp. They refused to refund me and told me they could wash the clothes in front of me if would like. WHY TF WOULD I TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO WASH MY ITEMS AGAIN? I tried to wear one black T shirt for work and I broke out in hives. They are absolutely disgusting. How do you do that to children's clothes at the very least?!?!? read more

Nice spot. Clean. Not too many people. Staff is pleasant and helpful. It's definitely worth visiting. Only issue for me limited parking when it gets busy but.... machines offer sn additional wash or rinse at no extra cost. Dryers are good too. They operate with cards so no coins. read more

This is my favorite laundromat -- it's spacious, there are ton of washers. Most importantly this place is absolutely clean, the bathrooms at laundromats are always the best but this place is really 5 stars. They also have television all throughout with free WiFi, and additional charging ports around the drying sections. The only con is that the dryers are a bit expensive, I wish they had some sort of deals not just Wednesday. Wednesday's is 1.49 small loads between 6 AM - 5 PM. read more

I actually enjoy coming here. The place is so clean, there is plenty of parking, and I always snag a basket! They have all size washers and even have extra large dryers. Perfect for those big blankets. My only complaint is there isn't much room to fold if there are a lot of people. But this definitely doesn't stop me from coming here. We live in a large building with two laundry rooms on each floor. After finding human feces in the washing machine one day a year ago, we started hiring a laundry pick up and delivery service that was really unreliable. You could never get in touch with anybody. So now we drop off and pick up our laundry at Early Bird. We drive about 7 minutes to Little Ferry. The laundry is done beautifully. It's folded nicely and smells nice. The service is friendly. The place is clean and the price is reasonable. We give them about 25 pounds a week and they usually have a 36 - 48 hour turnaround. Is it a lot of trouble for someone who pays rent for a building that has laundry on every floor? Yes. But unless you have laundry machines in your own home, you're at the mercy of people. You have to be able to count on people to act right, and you can count on the people at Early Bird. read more

I come here to wash my sheets and quilts whatever doesn't fit in my washer and dryer at home! I love it here super clean, everyones really nice especially the girls who work here ! The only bad thing is coming on the weekends is a Nono . I usually come Monday's and todays Sunday my first day her on a weekend and it's way too packed which obviously everything's packed on the weekends so I'm not surprised ! Def give this place a try ! NEW REVIEW *** I love this laundromat I'm so upset I have to say I won't be back . I turned my back for one second and someone took my laundry card . INSANE and then I ask staff like hey someone just took my laundry card I know it was right here can you check the cameras the person is obviously still here saw me put my card down and took it . She said she couldn't check the cameras and couldn't help me . I'm beyond upset at the fact that whoever took my card saw me put it down that's what I'm upset about not even the money . one of the worst laundromats I have experienced. spent over 50$ the other night on 2 loads because NONE of the dryers were working WITH ACTUAL HEAT. o er an hour and a half I waited, added more time, switched dryers, AND STILL left with damp clothing. the employees are useless. don't speak any English and refused to put me in touch with the owner. I asked for a refund from at least the card I purchased to use the machines that still had money on it and was told through another person that works there but was off duty that "we don't do that". of course at that point I was fed up and all the one off duty employee could say was "I don't care" over and over. they pointed me to an email address to contact the owner which I did and in keeping with the horrible service borderline scamming of peoples money to have ALLL the dryers requesting more time more money excessively that isn't normal....zero response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CORRUPT PLACE!!!! read more

Early Bird Laundromat is THE BEST, as far as laundromats go (and being an apartment dweller for the past 25 years in both NYC and NJ I've been to my share of laundromats!!!). It is HUGE!!! Always clean (even the bathrooms!), and for a laundromat this size, the majority of its machines are usually working. Even when it is chock-full BUSY (like Sunday night) it keeps movin' along, and you usually never have to wait too long for an open washer/dryer. Why not treat yourself to a slice of pizza next door, or go check out Family Dollar while your clothes are drying ; ) ! The only real negative is that seating is at a premium--there's only a few benches/fast-food style tables and chairs there, so if you drive that means you might end up sitting in your car listening to the radio or-? But other than that this place is da bomb : ) read more

Second time here and although I have to drive 4 or 5 miles to get here, it's a relative pleasure to do laundry. The place is clean, the washing machines range in size from small to gigantic (perfect for blankets or a huge load of towels). And, there are 2 dryer sizes. Prices are reasonable and the staff is pleasant & efficient. Gabby helped me the first time I came here and she was lovely. Today, one of the attendants intervened when two little boys were playing with a laundry cart and banging it into the seats. ( Their Mom was away at the time.) I thanked the attendant for her handling the situation. All in all, a very good place. read more

Perhaps it was when I went that made my experience not so great. It was a Saturday night and I was looking for a nice spacious laundromat which was open 24hrs a day so that I would not be rushed doing my laundry. While the parking space was large, as well as the inside, there was much crowding going on at the drying area. It was busy but not busy that you had to wait for a dryer. So let me rewind a bit. I used these two very large machines facing the entrance. At my normal laundromat (which was closed) these machines are $7 each. At this location, they were $9 each. After loading the machines and adding the soap, I could not help but to notice there were no bubbles/suds. I added more soap, still nothing. So I asked the attendant who was passing by if there was something wrong with the machines to which she replied, "No the machines are fine, depends on what soap you use". So I faced the empty container (100 FL Oz.) towards her and I said, "Well its ALL, I wouldn't say its cheap soap, I've never had an issue before." She just shrugged her shoulders, said, "I don't know", and walked way. When it came time to dry. I was putting my clothes in the dryer from one of my machines that finished, go back around to get the other load and its out on the side in a carriage with a yellow sticky listing the machine number on it. I kid you not, I was not even gone but four minutes loading the other load into the dryer. I felt the least they could have done was ask if it belonged to anyone there. Needless to say, while putting that load in, they did the same to my next load. The vending machine was broken, Wawa is a small drive away, but nothing in walking distance open at that time. There was a weird vibe throughout the place, like everyone was in a somber mood. I'm not sure if it was just the town people or what, but like people would bump into you and not even say excuse me, no one smiled at all, and if you laughed, they would look at you like you were standing there naked. So I guess you can tell I will not be back, but I decided to leave them two stars for the extra large yellow bins they provide to bring your clothes in and out of the facility. Earlybird is the perfect name for this place, you gotta get there extremely early, like 1am. Unbelievably, I do laundry earlier than I go fishing. The place is PACKED during human hours. Yes it's got great machines, yes the attendants are sweethearts, yes it's clean and bright with WiFi, but the crowding and waiting for machines to open up is a real problem. Pick a day, any day... it's packed. Midnight to 4am is the optimal time, don't even think about going on weekends. read more

This is my favorite laundromat since it opened in Little ferry. It's across my moms house n I drive the 10 minutes from wallington to wash here because it's always clean even on their busy days. There's always parking, and the staff is friendly and polite every time. Yes, it's just a laundromat, but they have WiFi and they have laundry cards instead of only using cash, which is convenient when u run out of quarters. The location is right across the park with a pond and the Dunkin Donuts too. They even give u a free wash on ur first time if you text the number on the window sign. I love going to this place during the day. There are enough machines for everyone. Free WiFi and Laundry cards make doing your laundry here a breeze. No fumbling with coins and you can use your phone during your wait for your machines to wash/dry. They have products available for purchase and even laundry bags. I was going to this laundromat loyally since they opened . The other day I was doing my laundry at 5 am . I waited for the cycles to finish and I sat in my car. The maintenance guy decided to start sweeping the parking lot around my car for some odd reason , now mind you it was dark out and 5AM. I got out of my car and I heard something fall out of my car and hit the ground. I looked at the man who was sweeping, he looked on the ground and then i looked and saw nothing. It was dark and i thought maybe i dropped a lighted .....but , i thought ok it's nothing and the guy kept sweeping .... I left the parking lot with my laundry about an hour later I realized I didn't have my phone....the phone was black and large 6" HTC U11. I subsequently Called the laundromat and they said he didn't have it and I said he was sweeping around my car and he kept hovering around my car I thought it was extremely weird needless to say I don't have my phone anymore and I don't believe that he doesn't have it I'm sure that it was robbed now and picked up off the ground by the maintenance man . I am totally turned off by this. When I called the laundromat the girl wouldn't let me get in touch with the owner of the laundromat which I thought was extremely odd and dubious so if you're gonna go to this laundromat lock up your stuff because I don't trust the people that work there anymore I would never go back again read more

5 stars for Early Bird ... best in the area. The washers and dryers are fantastic and there are so many you rarely have to wait. The attendants are very helpful and do a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and neat. Plenty of tables to use for folding and plenty of tables and benches to sit down while you wait.
