I'm a 30 years resident of Little Ferry and always support new businesses in town. But for the first time in all the years I've lived here, I was told I wasn't welcome at an establishment! The reason wasn't given I (wish I'd filmed it). But the last time I was there, the attendant saw my machine card for another laundromat that I also support. The next time I arrived she met me at the door and stated my business was no longer welcome there. I'm the only African American I've ever seen there and hope it wasn't racially motivated, but got no explanation from the attendant as to why? I was actually their very first customer, and the same attendant took pictures with me to mark the occasion! I was taught you shouldn't spend your money where it's not wanted so I will happily cross the street to Laundry Fresh or any of the other 5 laundromats in town. By the way, Dirty laundry Express is by far the most expensive in town! read more
