We have been down the childminder route and its a nightmare when it doesn't work out. the staff here are amazing, stephanie and beisha are legends. It's a little pricey but there are discounts for siblings, meals are included, they do full days when the schools are off, they don't charge for outings, you still get your government payment for the year before school. I'm told the after schoolers are getting a pet but that's an update for another day.

She has no respect for her staff and shows them a very different face to the one she puts on for parents. There is very poor communication, staffs needs are not listened to and decisions are made without consultation. Many of my co-workers would fake sick days and cry in the bathroom, most of the original group I worked with have left, some even leaving childcare for good as a result of their bad experiences. I would advise against anyone considering this as a work environment.

I had initially put my son in another crèche and immediately knew it wasn't right and moved him, the comparison was unbelievable. Glenone is well run and the staff couldn't be better. The garden is a real asset and the children love the freedom and space to play. I'm content when my son is at crèche because I trust that he is receiving the best care possible and that is all we can wish for. I think that the secret to the success of Glenone is the proprietor Susie who has created a special environment good enough for her own precious twins and we're lucky enough to have the same for our children.

They provide a range of services for the community, including art rooms, media rooms, a 100 seat theatre for performances and rehearsals, a recording studio, a chill out space and a health suite. They're located next to a very large gym and swimming pool, which is awesome. The Base is providing a crucial service to the youths of Ballyfermot. The building is quite big, very clean and well maintained (apart from some graffiti outside but that's not a huge deal). It's well lit up, has car and bike parking and is monitored by CCTV. It's a great centre.

They have really helped with his development and as you would hope, are great with kids. I would recommend this mursery school to any parent in or around Dublin 2, particularly those parents that work close int eh centre of town.
