The Early Learning Centre has several items on at half price, which is possibly why none of the shoppers under five were whining or throwing tantrums ... Parents were just saying, "okay!" Some of the toys were of the usual variety: dolls in houses and prams, action figures, costumes, puzzles of increasing difficulty, race car sets and activity centres for
those less mobile.
However, the crafty section was much more impressive than I've seen in other toy shops: chalkboards and easels; paint sticker and crayon sets; and pre-packaged craft ideas like make-your-own paper aquarium or t-shirt design or walking finger puppets.
The books were also quite unique, and suitable for a variety of ages. Some were cushy activity books, others were shaped like rucksacks (about the first day of school) or complete with hand-puppets on every page. Yay reading!
So this is a shop you can check out for the type of kids gifts you feel good about giving. read more
